Alternative Solutions
There are several solutions to my project. One of them is just to keep current system. Current system has been used for more than a decade, and has worked. It provides enough detailed information about student’s attendance. Main advantage of the current system is that it is cheap in the short term. There is no need to invest more money in to the system therefore it can be cost saving. However, it is neither flexible nor efficient. It cannot produce ad-hoc reports right away, it has to be done manually if wanted to which would consume a lot of time. In addition it cannot provide as much detailed report as alternative solutions.
Another solution is having a spread sheet, where teachers would type in number of minutes late into a class ready template. Spread sheet have good capabilities in calculations, however do not have all features require. Spread sheet software is most appropriate for financial or statistical analysis due to it’s formulas and functions built in. However, spread sheet software are not suitable for storing vast amount of data and day-to-day data. It does not have good search facilities nor ability to create ad-hoc reports.
On other hand, there is database software. Database software allows users hold vast amounts of data such as student’s address, and ability y to search and sort the data as the user desires. It has comprehensive searching ability which reduce amount of time lost searching for a certain record, in reality it is reduce to matter of seconds. Database software have ability to hand complex amount of data in various forms which are interconnect to each other. In other words, each data about student would be in separate document and master file would compile them all into one...

...uire cameras to be looked after or students may just loose their cards. Also teachers may lose their PDAs, which are not cheap. In such as system equipment does not need much care nor can be easily lost.
Even though other systems maybe automated it does not mean that they are easy to use. Users of the systems, administrative may have trouble with managing with the system. For instance they may have problems registering new students, or transferring everyone to the new system.

Technology can disrupt people’s train of thought. To begin with, many people around the world use technology. Electronics can help students and also affect them in many ways, but whether or not shutting down all electronics can help. Schools should participate in “Shut Down Your Screen Week” because of many reasons.

The target behavior I was looking for was; homework turned in within the first five minutes of class. I then started to collect data. This was fairly easy at the beginning because I used permanent recording. I used an ABAB design. This...
The action team committee will discuss the current system in place, research how the relationship in the classroom impacts academic success, review and answer any questions or concerns, and update the staff, the school district, the community, parents, students, the school board. The action research team will need to discuss and plan for how they could present any changes to the online management system to the staff, parents, students, the administrations, and the school board. The committee will also consider what the climate and culture is within the school, review student attendance, discipline, the amount of loss of classroom instructional time, and the social/emotional needs of the

To sum up everything stated above, it is necessary to mention that there are three effective tools that help to manage time for students: correct planning, stress management, and evaluation of time management. It is really vital for each student to know how to use their time wisely in order to improve their performance, reduce stress, as well as increase self-awareness.

Attendance is a crucial aspect of a student’s education. When a student is tardy or absent, this interferes with them receiving the information given in class. Class introductions that include instructions, objectives, due dates, etc. may be missed if a student is tardy and if a student is absent, they may also get behind on their class work and homework. Communication between teacher and students about the classroom management procedures for these two things are important so that students are informed and are able to take the initiative to gather what they have missed which can help avoid them falling behind. If tardies and absences are frequent, a teacher may begin to be concerned and question what could be the possible reasons behind it, whether that be an outside force in a student’s life or something that may be happening in the teacher’s own classroom. Establishing a relationship and reflecting upon oneself as a teacher to why the class might be having
