The Air Forces mission is to win in air, space, and cyberspace. From services to maintenance to combat controller, there are hundreds of specialties in the Air Force, and it is tough to recognize what your specialty’s role plays in the ultimate mission. Security Forces have a major duty than what most people might assume. Security Forces may be posted staring at a fence line that will never move. Alternatively checking Common Access Cards at the gate. These simple daily activities actually have a substantial impact on the ultimate goal. What would happen if an adversary attempted to gain access on base with a fake ID? Or attempted to climb over the fence to sabotage the Air Force objective? This is where the specialty’s goal comes into play.
Security Forces prevent unauthorized access. This base is certainly unique being the only base able to house the B-2 stealth planes, and having nuclear capability. So the Security Force’s role has a huge brunt when it comes to adversaries trying to gain unauthorized access onto the base. However, our simple, long, and boring day can determine whether or not an antagonist will harm winning in air, space, or cyberspace. Not only do these individuals need to prevent attackers from the outside. They need to keep peace within the base by preventing people acting chaotically. What if there is a great deal of traffic? What would happen if someone decided to rob the Base Exchange or the bank? This is what Security Forces have trained for. Enforcing the laws and making arrests plays a valuable aspect in keeping fellow Airmen from getting hurt or hurting others. Even if it means arresting your superiors or worse your friends. Nevertheless, despite a few from thinking that Security Forces do not do much. Or may think that what we do is boring. Moreover to encountering any stressful situations such as having to arrest fellow Security Forces (possibly your friend). The Special Forces have always been an elite unit that the American people, all military members, and the rest of the world could view as the best of the best. Building this reputation is just like in any other unit, there are support elements specifically designed to be able to assist the Special Forces to accomplish any mission, impeccably by land, sea, or air. Special Forces Groups contain two chemical detachments; the Chemical Decontamination Detachment and the Chemical Reconnaissance Detachment. The mission of the Special Operations Force Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (SOF CBRN) forces is to provide Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) reconnaissance and surveillance support for Special Operating Forces (SOF) in support of strategic, operational, and tactical objectives in all environments (Army, 2007).

The Army is a profession. A profession requires its members to adhere to prolonged training and learn specialized skills. A member of a profession must wholly commit himself and his skills to a calling which is entrusted by the public. Air Force Special Operations The United States of America is a powerful and well known force throughout the world. It has become a superpower of nations in just about three hundred years, being one of the newest nations in existence today. Its military reaches out into several countries in the globe and holds a presence as a peacekeeper and wielder of democracy. Of the US military’s five branches, the Air Force is the ruler of the skies, keeping control of the earth’s aerospace. Without the Air Force Special Operations, the military could not complete operations as effectively or efficiently as it potentially could.
Earlier in March 2014 the senior leadership of the Air Force, to include the Secretary of the Air Force, the Chief of Staff, and the Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force, made a statement to all airmen. They stated that “being an Airman is more than a job, when we voluntarily raised our right hands and took an oath to support and defend the Constitution, we became members of the profession of arms”, they also said that along with our profession of arms we are given and accept a sacred trust given to us by the American people, that to be worthy of this trust we must “build our lives and shape our service on the foundation of our core values”, and that when Airmen fail to live up to our core values, the reputation of all who serve is tarnished” (letter to airman, Mar 2014). Recently, I was tasked to deliver a briefing for the J3 monthly training day. This tasking was a result of my negligence in updating a certain system that is vital to the J3 watch floor. My briefing, although filled with correct information and guidance, was also slaked with profanity and unprofessional gestures. Regardless of any circumstances that may have been the cause for these actions, the actions needed correction. Correction was given, which was responded to by more profanity and provoking actions. After I showed such disrespect to my non-commissioned officer in charge, he escorted me to my supervisor and my actions were made known to him. During this time I was still acting very contentious and disrespectful, making snide comments and standing with such contempt as if to say “are you done now”. This of course escalated into more serious action by my leadership which very well could have been avoided had I done my duty correctly in the first place. The...

To do this, the DoD expends most of its focus and resources on joint training and assistance with African military partners. 53
The U.S Army is the strongest most respected and feared ground force in the world. It is also the oldest branch of the military and also the largest U.S. Military Service. There are approximately 76,000 officers and 401,000 enlisted members in the active duty Army. The success of the Army lives and dies on themselves and others. The army protects all that the constitution stands for. And each soldier defends this to their last breath with Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Honor, and Personal Courage. The Army has a mission to protect and defend its nation. ( “Overcoming Challenges” np)
However, it is evident that the implementation of these specialized aviation units has enabled Delta Force to execute its missions with much more accuracy. The mission of a co-pilot is to make sure the passengers are comfortable and to greet them as they are coming aboard the plane the other part is making sure that you are all set for take off ,this includes checking your fuel and going over the controls and mapping out the flight plan,(PEA). Then when you get up in the air it becomes a whole lot harder the pilot must make sure that you stay on the strict course and that you are not straying off the plan. When the passengers are aboard the plane the co-pilot or the stewards are usually the ones who explain the course of flight and to tell you to fasten your seatbelt. The job of being in the air force is also a hard and strenuous job job. It takes a lot of nerves to be able to handle the job. You have to be able to live with yourself when you shoot the other plane out of the air. Imagine going through the air when out of nowhere another plane fly’s by shooting at you, what are you going to do? Try to take it? No you are going to have to attack back and defend yourself. How would you like to live with yourself after knowing that you just sent a man to his death? But on the other side you are defending your country...
