Duties of NCO don’t stop after duty day is over. Taking into consideration the nature of our unit’s mission, there are going to be times when we have to stay late in order to address issues negatively impacting team, flight, or squadron performance. We never leave an Airman behind! Just because you have accomplished all your tasks for the day, check in with your fellow Airmen and leadership to see if they need help with accomplishing their tasks. The team’s success depends on the success of individual team member and team member’s success depends on the success of the team. 5. Professional Appearance not only applies to our uniform. The way a person maintains his or her work environment says a lot about a person’s work and ethics. Don’t simply assume that the professional appearance of our shared work environment is someone else’s job. It is everyone’s job. If you see overflowing trashcan, don’t simply walk by it. Be pro-active! Maintain your own work environment free of clutter, dirt, dust, or debris. Turn off your computer monitors and disconnect your headphones when they are not in use, or leaving for the

Even though this time honored tradition has change a lot over the years (For the good and the bad) it is still a important part of our service rich heritage that is staying alive because of you and your fellow PCPO’s. A lot of E-7s will not even take two month out of their busy lives to learn about what it really means to be a Chief.

The United States of America is a powerful and well known force throughout the world. It has become a superpower of nations in just about three hundred years, being one of the newest nations in existence today. Its military reaches out into several countries in the globe and holds a presence as a peacekeeper and wielder of democracy. Of the US military’s five branches, the Air Force is the ruler of the skies, keeping control of the earth’s aerospace. Without the Air Force Special Operations, the military could not complete operations as effectively or efficiently as it potentially could. The United States Air Force is a key part of America’s mission to spread and assist democracy throughout the world.
Professionalism is key in any work environment whether it be the White House or Ms. Brittany’s preschool classroom.
The Dress Code promotes how we act. If you dress professionally, then that’s how people will take you as. A professional. And from what they expect is how you
Readiness is of the utmost importance with training being the most significant aspect that contributes to Readiness. Each Soldier needs an individual training plan. The plan should take the Soldier from enlistment to discharge or retirement. It is each Soldiers responsibility to be proficient in their field craft. This includes being fit mentally and physically, and trained to win in a complex world. It is the responsibility of the NCO to train these Soldiers. Unit training plans will address the readiness and resilience of individual Soldiers to ensure their fitness to accomplish their mission. Units must conduct realistic training at the individual, squad, platoon and company levels focused on Mission Essential Tasks (METs) for their

The intelligence we create has great influence on our future doctrine and the way we may need to prosecute war against a particular enemy due to the weapons systems they will have. These intelligence perspectives have given my leadership characteristics a better sense of significance to Air Force missions.
There are many attributes that contribute to being professional. The many that stick out in my mind are responsibility and accountability, leadership, honor and integrity, respect, and caring compassion and communication. All of these attributes pertain to the professional work environment in the own important way. When you are a professional you need to have responsibility and accountability. This means you have to demonstrate awareness of your own limitations, and identify developmental needs and approaches for improvements. You care for yourself appropriately and you present yourself in an appropriate manner (demeanor, dress, and hygiene). You recognize and report errors and poor behavior in peers. You have to take responsibility for appropriate share o...
I am a professional and as one professionalism is displayed to all workers and students alike.
To name a few examples of professionalism in the workplace - is being on time, limiting absences, can communicate effectively, dress in suitable clothes, and shows a willingness to work with others. Having a positive attitude in stressful setting is another great example. Professionalism will show in your actions and people around you will notice it. Once people notices your display of professionalism, you will gain respect and trust in your workplace. However, if you dig deeper, all the examples of professionalism mentioned above, it all boils down into one reason- attitude. It is an attitude to show up at work early, and not miss work. It is an attitude that you can communicate effectively. It is an attitude that you can willingly work with others. It is an attitude that you can stay positive despite being in a stressful environment. So, make it simpler, professionalism in the workplace relies solely on one’s
It’s always important to follow the dress code. The way you dress will make a good or bad impression on the people you work with. Your clothes should be neat, clean, and not torn. You don’t want to stand out from everyone else. You should always say “Please and Thank You”, and you should stand and shake hands with people when you meet them for the first time. You should also keep your desk and office clean, and clean up after yourself. Don’t gossip, and always treat your coworkers with respect. Be sure to ask before borrowing things, and always return them as soon as you are finished with them. Make sure to take care of your personal things on your own time, or during breaks. Also, when speaking on the phone or to others in the office, it is important not to get loud and yell. Make sure to give compliments to others when they do something good, and make sure if you mess up to take responsibility for what you did and try to fix it. Also, if you hurt another’s feelings, make sure to apologize. Most importantly, always be on
As uniforms were required in most schools in the past, we all know it was also a trending fashion in work environments for various reasons. Although we can see more freedom about dress codes in recent years, we were stricter in this regard in the past, as we just come to realize it. It was a mandatory dress code almost in every school across the World. As times have changed along with our culture, work ethics along with technology, we are now discussing whether to go back to uniform days. Making it a mandatory again in most schools as it is getting out of hand with economical differences of families, internet and fashion. As these facts are
Discipline is vital for schools to run smoothly. In a school environment students must obey their teacher’s rules and directions. Sometimes students may forget or misunderstand who the authority figures are at school. When a school establishes a uniform policy they are reinforcing who is in charge because these outfits set guidelines of expectations for each student. When students are properly dressed and have the tools needed to learn they are on the track to success because they are no longer distracted by their clothing. Some people may say that clothing do not make differences on the way someone acts, but in actuality they do. Professional clothing symbolize respect and seriousness. That is why this outfits are worn to funerals, work, job interviews, and church. (Arundel) Casual clothing gives off the impression that if they can wear whatever they want, they can als...
