• Like Scrum Alliance Scrum.org provides different certification like Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSP), Professional Scrum Developer (PSD) and Scaled Professional Scrum (SPS).
• In PSM, there are three different levels for certification that test scrum knowledge and how to perform in scrum environment using that scrum knowledge.
• First level of assessment is foundation that proves how much you understand the scrum and the ability to apply those scrum values. Intermediate (Second level of assessment) is advanced level of scrum mastery. It proves that you understand the hidden values and principles of scrum and apply that knowledge into real-life, complex projects. Third level of PSM is advanced level that shows that you understand every bit of scrum values and principles and apply it effectively in complex teams across the organization in any situation.
• It highly recommended to attend the Scrum classes but NOT mandatory.
• There are 80 questions for certification with time limit of 60 minutes only. And you must score 85% to get certified.
• Exam fee is $150.

The Scrum approach is pretty flexible. This enables the project to be able to adapt whenever a new situation arises. This aspect of Scrum is pretty important since all projects undergo change during its scope. The ability to adapt allows for your project to stay relevant. This is especially essential in the fast moving world of technology and software. Scrum takes on an empirical approach. This means that there is an understanding that all projects will be faced with unpredicted challenges. Scrum maximizes on its abilities to deliver and respond to these changes. Scrum is a simple concept which tackles difficult tasks. The core of scrum can be divided into 3 primary roles; product owners, development teams, and Scrum masters.
The third phase is norming. This is when team member have an agreement on who does what, the roles and responsibilities are clear and acceptable. Decisions can be delegated to individuals within the group. The team discusses and develops its processes and working methods. Furthermore a leader is also picked which is general respect other member and some leadership is more shared by the team to develop everyone skills.
One of the key assignments that I think has allowed me to develop the most during this module is the assessment centre. During this task for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, we were put into groups and given a specific budget of money that we could donate to a panel of charities, based on the company 's values. What I wanted to achieve was to get an insight into what the environment is like and the sort of exercises that take place so that I can become familiar with the process, and I can use it to my advantage. Going to the assessment centre, I was slightly nervous as I had never taken part in one before and for the fact that I was being marked on my performance, so I was unsure of what to expect, which made me feel uncomfortable. However, during the exercise, I became more comfortable as I got into the task and though that I made a valuable contribution to the group.
