Human resources specialists also get the chance to delve into the inner workings of other departments like finance or marketing. Extroverts are energized by people around them. This job would be very preferred by them because it matches their personality. This job is require social interaction with hundreds employee daily which compatible with them by ease.
Responding to media requests or working on press campaigns requires an outgoing personality. Extroverts can easily build the long-term relationships required for the job and will enjoy the constant energy of working with people. The main difference between introverts and extroverts is where they draw their energy from. Extroverts are generally considered as an expressive individual who seem to be energized by outgoing and social activities whereas introverts prefer the solitary pursuits -often embroiled in their own imagination- and may sometimes find the company of others draining. In looking at emotional intelligence, this is not a new concept. It can be traced back to Edward Thorndike study of social intelligence (Cartwright & Pappas, 2008). This type of intelligence is defined in “the ability to understand and manage people” along with taking this ability and applying it to oneself (Cartwright & Pappas, 2008, p. 152).
