The Merchant is the person who create a link between buyer and vendor. In an garment industry merchandiser role is so important, he/she is the integral part of the industry. In a garment industry, merchandiser known by many different names like trader, an exporter or an importer of a garment. Merchant is basically works as employee of a vendors company. Merchandiser is also a coordinate the full manufacturing process of garment from getting the order, approving the design, order of fabric, cutting, production and up to the end stage of shipment of order, he is responsible for the buyer. Merchandiser is known as the sole of the garment industry. Thus a merchandiser is a fulcrum of the industry which involves coordinating and follow the strict roles and schedules. Also, it will help me to build my personal characteristics that will make me successful in this major. As my education continues, I look forward to learning how manufacturers and distributors maintain good communication and relations, so that the products can be distributed efficiently and avoid problems. If there are problems, I would also like to comprehend ways to solve those problems. In the future, I hope to work for a company such as Amazon, Dell, or Boeing in the field of logistics. These companies depend on logistics in planning and conducting their operations. Since logistics and relations between manufacturer and distributor are critical to the everyday operations of businesses, understanding this will help me in my future endeavors.
The rhetor is the person who is responsible for the writing because they are the one who is doing the writing. The rhetor is also the person who controls all of the other constituents because they are the one writing everything but they also have to take into account the other constituents so that their work can be well received. In this case the rhetor is the person who owns the company which would be the CEO. However there could also be more rhetors in this case because it is a large company with multiple stores so to get even more specific we could say the each store has a rhetor as well as each shift within the store. This is because there is the head manager of each store and then there are typically assistant managers that control the employees on each shift. So when you look at it this way then there are multiple rhetors for this company because there are different levels of authority and typically we associate rhetors with people who are in authority
The strengths of the book come from its’ accessibility. The book is easy to follow and provides readers with a great deal of information about the production of mass-manufactured clothing. As well as brings awareness to its’ many issues which we inadvertently take part in when we purchase such products. The book is well written and thoroughly researched but does have its’ share of weaknesses.

Clothing stores often overstocked merchandise, clothing that has been returned by customers or items that are past their sell-by season. It would not be good business for these stores to throw out merchandise. Clothing stores have been known to donate some of their clothing but this is not something that most of them do. Giving away amounts to loss in profits and that is just not good business. Clothing stores often work with wholesale pallet companies who buy all the excess stock in bulk to resell. While growing up, I realized the benefits a person has when they personally own their own business. You can make your own schedule, personally control your finances, and essentially have complete control of your business Of course upon this realization; I came to the conclusion that I was going to be my own boss. I have always taken pride in how I present myself including how I dress. The limitless nature of fashion and its versatility has always intrigued me. One empowering aspect of clothing that is so fascinating is how it enables people to express themselves. Because of these interests, I have come to the conclusion that I wish to own a fashion boutique.
