APA style was formed by a body of psychologist and business managers striving to make the scientific writing more persistent. This style of writing is regularly used to give credit to an writer’s work being used. Students can use sources such as journals, interviews, observations,and books to research information. When the APA form is being used, the author’s last name goes first followed by the first name along with the year it was published and the source. References are listed at the end of the writing.

APA style is frustrating to new students learning the basic rules.Trying to figure out how to list more than one author or citing lectures are just a few problems the students run into. Remembering to cite sources when adding quotations
