America has left the Muslims out in the open for the terrorist because we do not let in them in. People are afraid that if we let in too many Muslims they will killed or that they would leave because they could be dangerous. our country. I don’t think it’s a problem if we let them in. I wonder how would? like if you were not allowed in a safe place just because of what your religion is,; it’s not right. We should of course check their background, see any signs that they could be dangerous to us, but still if they look clear we should let them in. that I do not know why the terrorist hate America this much but this could be a possibility of …show more content…
It would be near impossible to end it with by myself as just a simple civilian with no power at all. Presidents and king or queens could have an easier time because most of the world could know and would eventually see whatever the what they said it what they are doing it’s not like i can donate food or start up a charity and be heard by a lot of people. I myself would probably be heard by a little amount of people, so very little people would hear my ideas of how to stop terrorism. I could possibly send this into something like the news or La Times and stuff like that and hope that they put my ideas into their way of telling the news and more people would hear me. Honestly there is not a lot I could do. I could only get bigger people to spread my ideas that could possibly end
During an interview of three family members, I was able to learn more information about the events of 9/11. My mom, Jamie Goldman, was the first person I interviewed. She told me she was helping a friend with her new business in Aiken, SC. She first heard on the radio, breaking news, that a plane had flown into one of the Twin Towers at the World Trade Center. Her first thought was that a plane had crashed accidentally. As the day went on, she learned of even more horrible acts against our country, and then realized our Nation was under attack from terrorist. My mom was heartbroken, scared, sad, and mad all at the same time. She struggles with forgiving the terrorist but knows that God would want her to forgive them. The song "God Bless the USA" is a song that helps my mom cope with the events of 9/11. My mom did not know anyone personally that was killed or injured on 9/11. She said, "after 9/11, our country has been a country at war. We have stopped loving our neighbors and instead, started judging them."
After the terrorist attacks, they’ve brought worry and fear to many Americans in the past years and even up till today, They put blame on the Government for not increasing our security and privacy. All though it’s natural to think negative and believe the worst about Muslims after the horrific attacks, we need to at least give them a chance and move away from 9/11. Americans know little about the ways of being Islam.
... There are those individuals that have a strong hatred for Islam, than we have people that feel sorry for Muslims in America and make them feel like they actually belong to society. However, it would be fantastic if people can start to actually separate terrorists from the Muslim community. Their religion was hijacked by the attack. Like I previously mentioned, we many not seem to stop and realize that our own religion might be part of terrorism. Religion should not matter when we look at a person because there are two kinds of people in the world, the good and bad. If we all had to look at the flaws in everyone’s beliefs and religious we would probably come to the conclusion that we aren’t all terrorists but some people with the same beliefs as us, might be. We tend to find the bad in something and associate it with everything else that is somehow connected to it.
9/11 was a event that would never be forgotten and people's hearts the tragedy happened over 10 years ago and we remember it like if we remember the world wars. To commercial airliners crashed into the north and south tower of the World Trade Center or did they? People speculate that before about airplanes were military planes because the pictures they were taking below before the crash had a strange object that looks like a bomb. Some people think that it was planned by the government to get people's attention and some people think that is the truth the Osama bin Ladin the leader of the terrorist group that killed 2000 people on September 11, 2001.this became a theory because people thought that it was the government because how would Terrace get their hands on military aircraft with bombs on it.
...slims after this act of terrorism. Fortunately, attitude towards Muslims in USA became better than it was 7-8 years ago. At first year’s attitude were terrible, because citizens thought that Muslims have done this act, but some time later, they understood that not all Muslims are terrorists, they are victims too. But now, Muslim Americans have the freedom to practice their faith openly and there are more than 1,200 mosques in USA. American Muslims have a very high level of satisfaction and they can be found in every kind of profession from doctors to teachers to tech entrepreneurs to government worker. Muslim Americans, like every other faith group, can practice their religion freely and openly in America and there is no fear of being suffered of racial discrimination. So, to conclude I want to say that Muslim Americans were and are part of a great community of USA.
Terrorism has been around since the first century. Terrorism is the use of violent acts to frighten the people in an area as a way of trying to achieve a political goal. Though it wasn’t always in the United States. The first group of terrorists was known as the Zealots of Judea. The romans also knew them as the Sicarii or the dagger-men because sica means small dagger. They were motivated by the belief that they couldn’t stay faithful to the Jewish beliefs while still being Romans. They were founded by Hassan Al-Sabah. He was known as the mountain man because he ran his cult in the Mountain Fortress of Alamut. From 2000-2004 more than one thousand people died or were injured be the Palestine. In 9/11/2001
September 11 terrorists attacks were the worst acts of terrorism the United States had ever experienced. It killed about 3,000 innocent people. Tuesday, September 11,2001, terrorists hijacked 4 commercial jetliners and crashed two of them into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, one in the Pentagon in Washington, and one crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. It was an important event in American history because of what started it, events leading up to it, Twin Towers crash, Pentagon crash, and the Pennsylvania crash.
Over the past century, terrorism has advanced from random killings to enormous plans for terrorist groups. To understand terrorism, you must first define it. Terrorism as we all know it is hard to define and understand, and has many different definitions as it is used widely. The word "terrorism" stems from the word "terror", which means to instill fear in. People become terrorists when they take the actions towards instilling fear and terror upon people to prove a certain point or agenda.
Terrorism is focused on a one-sided belief that dictates massive destruction of institutions, foundations and national symbols. It represents a philosophy, which does not comply with common sense. Terrorism acts are a matter of individual psychology, relentless ideology, religious commitment, or political passion. The most devastating terrorism attack in the United States was on September 11, 2001. Other U S attacks were the Manhattan attack in 1997, the Anthrax attack in 2001, a prior World Trade Center attack in 1993, the Wall Street Bombing attack in 1920, and the Kalama City bombing in 1995 (Askshintala, 2013). Terrorism attacks have also taken place in Israel, Greece, Chechnya a border between Russia and European countries and India (Askshintala, 2013). All of these attacks and other attacks that were not as devastating have become much of an international legal debate on terrorism. Terrorism should be criminalized under international law.
Many Muslims are being searched on the basis of being Muslim and no other logical or probable cause. One issue leads to another causing fear, hatred, and the desire for revenge and revenge can sometimes get out of hand. Furthermore, ISIS claims to be Muslim when in fact the Quran frowns upon such acts. Also Americans don’t want to see the fact that ISIS isn’t only targeting Christian nations, but also Muslims countries. The first ISIS attacks first started in 2013 in Iraq, killing 1041 and injuring 2,200+, later in 2104 they expanded to the west totaling 6 dead and 12 injured. Later in 2015/2016, the attacks got larger and more devastating. Even then ISIS didn’t only attack western countries but also Middle Eastern Muslims countries like Pakistan, Egypt, Syria, Turkey etc. Yet, these Middle Eastern countries got less attention and more blame. ISIS bombed Karrada, Baghdad, and suspected to have bombed one of the holiest sites in Islam, the Prophet 's Mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia. All of this occurred in the holy month of Ramadan, when every other Muslims was praying and fasting for god; and yet they dare call themselves an Islamic
In the worst ever attack in U.S history, nineteen men associated with IS hijacked four jets and rammed it into the twin towers on 12th September 2001, resulting in a mighty storm of ash, glass and smoke. A total of 2,977 people were killed during the attacks which happened at the U.S world trade centres located in New York City. “Never in U.S history has there been a day of such strife since the attack at Pearl Harbour” a sympathetic onlooker said.
Terrorism has existed for thousands of years since the Biblical times when people were stoned and burned to death. This type of brutal behavior is being felt all over the world today and has become a huge problem. This method of attacks gives light to the history to the people behind these attacks to include social environment, beliefs, and hardship of a country and what the people have endured. While other countries had suffered under these cowardly acts years prior to the 9/11, attacks U.S. had very little to worry about.
This paper seeks to analyze the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center’s North and South Towers, the Pentagon, and the attempted attack on the White House, on the morning of September 11th, 2001. Using two different theories, that both offer an explanation as to why organizations employ terrorism, this paper will attempt to offer possible explanation as to why Al-Qaeda chose to employ terrorism, as opposed to other tactics, to further its goals as an organization.
Many people ask what is terrorism and why does it happen? Terrorism is a world-wide problem that is caused by terrorist who plan to take over their country with a group of people with the same goal as them.
Many people in America believe that Muslims are not American and therefore they should leave this country, there have many reported incidents in which Muslims have been harassed and told to leave, including curses. There also have been incidents reporting more physical hate, some which include people taking off women’s hijabs, saying they shouldn’t be wearing that in
