I have always been a curious person. My family, when recalling my childhood always remember me by my constant questioning of things, and while some found it annoying, specially my siblings in that time when I got lost in Disney because I saw a trashcan that was “talking” and I wanted to see who was inside; my parents encouraged my hunger for learning telling me, those who don't ask never learn. So, for the remaining of my life I have spent countless of time throwing questions, which for the most time have granted me countless knowledge on different topics such as how an air conditioner works to discovering my passion, fashion. When I finally learned how to read, I couldn't get enough of it, several hours were spent along my twin sister reading what the book offered and admiring its colorful pictures. Learning to read is a happy time to most children, for me the excitement was double, I, at last got to read my book, and get answers to some of my countless questions. The value of knowledge is priceless, my mother has always said to me, the more you know the more you value, which is true. Knowledge is power, knowing more gives you more access to what the world has to offer, and that is pretty much infinite. I believe knowledge can shape you as a person, make you find your path and help you become the person you aspire to be. Without it, we are nothing. I think everyone is born with a curiosity of life, after all, we are really born clueless, and it is up to us what to make of it. I am thankful for my insatiable curiosity because I believe it has brought me more good than bad things, aside from that time I sticked a knife into a plug just for the sake of seeing what would happen.
