Reflection is mainly meant for three purposes including the assessment of level of understanding related to specific knowledge, to attain self-awareness and to evaluate the performance of the action. Reflective essay is the overall workplace experience of my placement that I have completed it in OCNMO. This essay provide an outline of the work I have completed in OCNMO and how I workout to attain success for the project work. Besides, for the development and improvement of my interpersonal skills I have to reflect my placement experience that occurred in my workplace organisation. 14 weeks was allocated for the work placement and it starts on 27th of July 2015.

My workplace supervisor provided me with good information about the procedures and my work responsibilities prior to the work placement. Moreover, supervisor also arranged the work placement in sufficient time. By observing the work of all the staffs, I realised the importance of team work. Constant interaction with the team members, I started to learn some important skills like how to communicate and interact with different personal to prepare my project without any difficulty. I really enjoyed working with all the staffs in OCNMO, had a lot of information from each and every one. There were an ongoing teleconference and videoconference and group meeting conducted for the betterment of the project. That was my first experience in life to sat in front of a group of people with different sort of knowledge. They all discussed their own views and finalised the ideas. I was really nervous during conference and mainly it because of my poor communication skills reffffff. On the whole, I was not happy with my performance in the group conference and realised it would become one of the main drawback for my future career.in particular, lack of confidence and poor communication skill was the main drawbacks badly affecting my group performance. However, I tried to make some notes regarding the topics they were discussed and I found some time to clarify my doubts with my supervisor and other team members. Note taking helped me a lot to revise the points that already discussed and it helped me to add some information while preparing my project deliverables. In some point, I felt struggle to understand acronyms used by health care professionals in OCNMO. This I discussed and clarified with my supervisor as well as the team members. The language problem makes more difficulty to prepare notes during group meeting as English is not my first language. Even though, I prepared notes as much as I understood from every group
My experience an educational assistant has been both challenging and rewarding. For example, Some students were certainly challenging to work with as they gave off a hue of discomfort and disinterest. During one class period, I was tasked with helping a student finish his Algebra assignment that required him to solve for variables on a worksheet. The student did not understand the assignment and was clearly reluctant to complete it, despite already being late to turn it in. I was able to demonstrate patience by spending two whole block periods with the student while working on the assignment until he was able to grasp the concepts being taught. At the beginning I was really afraid to express my opinion about my team project, but all my team members are really friendly and willing to listen to my opinions. I really had good time while doing this project, as a communicator in my group, I made Google doc to let every member give their own opinions and that is also a good method to discuss our project online. Moreover, I designed the PowerPoint and provided lots of pictures to make our project wonderful. For our presentation, even though I felt so nervous and could not speak well on my presentation, my team members are really nice and encourage me a lot. For the team paper, I divided into four parts to discuss more details about our main points of the topic; at first I thought that it would be difficult to do this part, yet one of my team members used interesting way, Rock-paper-scissors, it is a fair way to do it, and every members are willing to do this. During March 2016, in Stage 1 of the pharmacy degree, I attended a two day work placement in a community pharmacy as part of the Work Based Learning module within the Capability unit. The purpose of Work Based Learning is to increase engagement with learning and to develop skills specific to patient pathways. This will link to Stage 4 of the MPharm course in which the main unit is Patient Centred Care. Therefore, it is imperative that I enhance my patient education skills through my own education.

Whilst reflective practice allows the nurse to recognise the value of their experiences, they may also need support to work through a difficult situation. Reflection is an essential component in the development of professional competencies and critical thinking skills in nursing practice. Reflection in the context of nursing, has been described as a way of exploring an experience in order to look for the prospect of other explanations and alternative methods to doing things. One of the clinical skills which I become competent in during my clinical placement is bed washing a patient. I had little or no knowledge of how to wash a patient in a hospital before and this training has provided me an ample opportunity to learn this skill. The reflective model I have chosen to describe my essay is Gibbs model (Gibbs 1998).Gibbs model of reflection is one of the most popular models of reflection and divided into six step process of reflective cycles. The intention of reflective practice is to help the teacher/learning coach evolve and develop the quality of their teaching by the continuation of personal development. Although most teachers have done this for years, reflective modelling or methods have formulized a structure which can be followed and adapted to best suit their methods.
