Communication in Graphics and Animation jobs is critical in accomplishing the various creative projects and client jobs that are presented to the team or individual. Outlined below are just some of the many types of communication choice that will or would be needed to not only do the job hired for but also in getting promotions.
When people are in the workplace communication is a key element to having productive and happy employees and management. There are many different people that will interact with each other on any given day and in many different situations. On any given day a person will communicate with the upper and lower management in a company, the main employees like graphic designers and animators, interns that have come in to learn the company and the processes of the business and jobs that they did not get in school, the different companies that are competing for the same creative jobs and the clients that have asked the company to do a creative project. What are the different ways to communicate? When in graphics and animation jobs a person will use email to make reminders or contact management and clients, calling a person or client on the phone, and meeting a co-employee or a client face to face. The first thing to do is look at the pros and cons of the types of communications. First, there is email and/or written communications. While email communications are sometimes the quickest form of communication, this can also be the most impersonal. If a boss sends an email to one of their employees and does not proofread the correspondence, the employee might not understand the context of the conversation and misinterpret what point the manager is trying to get across.
