Don't get me wrong these skills can be learnt and when implemented on (Taking some action) then YES your chances of success are multiplied. However some people just are not cut out for the hard work that it would take to accomplish this success. Becoming an entrepreneur will take dedication, persistence, and good old fashioned hard work. You see the problem with this work ethic is that most people are quite happy to live out the rest of their lives in their own 'comfort zone'. Ask them to step out of that 'comfort zone' and they end up flapping around like a fish out of water. Living the 9-5 work ethic, it doesn't have to be that way no more. Let me tell you a short story that you may be able to relate to. When I'm out and about like at family occasions etc and people who I haven't seen for a while come up to me and ask me 'what It is I do for a living' I generally say something Like 'oh I sell things on the internet' or ' simply …show more content…
It happened to me the other day while I was pushing the trolley around the super market. I ran into an old school friend who I hadn't seen for about ten years. He said 'so Mike what do you do for a living these days?' (There's that awkward question again) As usual I 'said I'm making a living on the internet selling things' and to my surprise he said 'oh that's funny that's what I'm doing too'. As it happens he was making quite a decent living from a really cool niche that he was making quite a good living at and knew a lot about. This hasn't been an isolated incident neither, Within the last 6 months or so - quite a few people who I have bumped into have Come up to me and mentioned that they have a 'Side line business' as well. I think more and more people are realising the Power of the internet and how it can let you Experiment with the internet and allow you to make a second living and that the only thing stopping you is YOUR

The American work ethic is something our country should be proud of. Since the days of George Washington Americans have worked hard for what they believe in, what they need, and what they want. It is our right as Americans to be able to work for these ideals. Without out a strong work ethic our country would crumble. From businessmen to politicians a strong work ethic is necessary to keep our country financially and politically stable.
In the book Outliers, and in the articles, “Meaningful Work”, “Do, Just, Do: A Journey to Meaningful, Satisfying work”, and “ You Wont Find Meaningful work Looking Outside Yourself”, The authors Malcolm Gladwell, Michael F. Steger, Lori Deschene, and Keven wood describe what the joy of meaningful is to them.Life is what you make of it and it’s and up to you to decide what you will get out of it. Some people may work eight hour shifts Monday through Friday miserable, exhausted, depressed, unhappy, and under a lot of pressure and stress from their jobs. Others may do the same, similar, or different jobs being comfortable, happy with life, and pleased with their job position. Your job should be one of the most important things to you because you are there on average forty hours a week and most of your time is spent there. It should be important that you enjoy what you do because it is practically your second home. Meaningful work is a job you enjoy doing, are compassionate about, never tired of, and do for the fulfillment of yourself , it is important to success because if one enjoys what they do opportunities in their career path will only expand.
Labor Day is not like many other U.S. holidays. It is a celebration without specific traditions, like family dinners or prayers. For most people, Labor Day just marks the last weekend of summer and the start of a new school year.
What do people think about their life purpose? Most of us think about life that is studying hard in order to get a wonderful job, working hard, and getting married. They have dreamed of one day having an eternal vacation for themselves and not having to work anymore. The traditional people around the world consider that overworking is an essential condition for the early stage of their life. Especially in most of Asian countries, the average workweek is 48 hours. According to the fulltime employment, people work 35 to 40 hours per week to be defined as full-time. If more than that number, that should be considered overworking. Overworking is an important issue because that can lead to some serious consequences. Thus, we should consider work-life balance more seriously.
Hard work is challenging work. But why does it have to be challenging work? Because challenging work, when intelligently chosen, pays off. It’s the work that people of lesser character will avoid. And if you infer that I’m saying people who avoid challenging work have a character flaw, you’re right… and a serious one at that. If you avoid challenging work, you avoid doing what it takes to succeed. To keep your muscles strong or your mind sharp, you need to challenge them. To do only what’s easy will lead to physical and mental flabbiness and very mediocre results, followed by a great deal of time and effort spent justifying why such flabbiness is OK, instead of stepping up and taking on some real challenges.
Motivation is key in the workplace. It is developed from the collaboration of both conscious and unconscious principles such as the strength of desire or need, motivating force or reward estimation of the objective, and desires of the person and of his or her peers/co-workers. These elements are the reasons one has for carrying on a specific way. An illustration is an understudy that invests additional energy contemplating for a test since he or she needs a superior review in the class. The Inside and outside principles that animate want and vitality in individuals to be constantly intrigued and centered around their work, part or subject, or to try to achieve an objective.
In society, most people will work for many different reasons. Some will work based on the needs of money to survive, some require money to feed their love ones, and some just need money for their own leisure. In life, most people work just to stay busy, and even work until it’s time for them to retire. When applying for a job, the employer will ask for a résumé or a job application. When the information is given, it contains a work history which is a detailed report of all the jobs that a person has held, including company name, job title, and dates of employment. Companies typically required that applicants must provide their work history when applying for a job. A person’s work history is used by prospective employers to verify the information that a person has provided and to be contacted by pervious employers for background checks.
During everyone 's lifetime, there is always something we hold closest to our hearts; it maybe our principles we live by, values, and even our own beliefs. Values are those things that are very important to us but never really realize how much we actually value them in our life. Have you ever been asked to define three of your main values and rip them up? I have and I never noticed how much they meant to me. Each and every one of us believes in our own personal values. These values are what gives us strength and strive us to do what makes us happy. These values are very important to us and are standards that we live by whether we realize it or not. Everyone has something we value including me. Some of the values I might think highly of,
The Catholic Social Teaching principle of work and workers is countercultural, especially within today’s society. The ideologies that this principle is based on, work against societal norms that have allowed employers to neglect their workers and consumers to judge them unfairly. Instead of the human dignity of these workers being respected and upheld in the workplace, where they spend a majority of their time, it is actively disregarded for a larger profit. The principle of work and workers expresses the importance of the health and rights of workers, which should be the top-priority of employers. However, with society’s obsession with personal gain, these basic needs are often compromised for a larger profit.
Moral ethics is the belief that all human beings are born to know right from wrong. We come into this world as good people, but the temptations and challenges in life influence our mind set to as it will. Every person on Earth chooses if they’re to follow through with their life of good or go down the path of bad. “A person’s moral ethics” (unknown.)
Most successful entrepreneurs are have a passion for their product or service as well as a desire to solve a problem and make life easier, better, cheaper (10 Qualities of successful entrepreneurs, 2010). Being a student of success you will find there are varying traits but consistent ones, that lean toward success. It is your personality, your inner drive that will make you successful. Once you identify those traits, your journey as an entrepreneur will lead to success. Here now is THE list. See what you have and what you will need to acquire to achieve:
Many people dream of becoming entrepreneurs someday. But it made me realize that there other factors that needs to be taken into consideration. We need to ask ourselves are we ready to take the challenge to the outside world. Not everyone have the vision, innovation and creativity to become an entrepreneur. The individual must have a positive attitude and accept the responsibility, have discipline to meet their goals, and take action when the opportunity presents itself. Many prefer a job security and rely on a weekly paycheck, while entrepreneurs will take risks and doesn 't have that luxury to know the amount of their income.
Another large debate in the issues and impacts of obesity is the responsibility of employer’s. Especially for those whose obesity comes from a sedentary lifestyle. Or perhaps need the preventative measures of keeping obesity at bay. A hot topic on the rise is whether or not employers should be mandated to give employees a work-out period in their schedule. The employers could offer employee’s incentives for utilizing resources (a company gym, discounted memberships, and dietician, walking a company track) and by using the resources keep costs low. Though initially it could be costly to take on the responsibility to offer extra incentives to employee’s it could offer long term potential savings. (Villareal, Apovian, Kushner, and Klein 2005) Those whose companies offer various programs and actively engage in them express more happiness, productivity, a greater quality of life, and overall better health. Better health allows for employee’s to serve their employers better. They use less sick pay, keep insurance premiums low, and are more likely to be in tune with their daily job. So while the initial cost may be high, the long term financial gain of a happy, healthy, productive team is hard not to invest in!
