According to Strickland (2001) language development is “The process by which children acquire their first language in early childhood.” As human beings we all have the capacity to develop language, whether we develop oral language, sign language, body language, etc. All these language systems help us to communicate, express our feelings, needs and thoughts.
Exist many theories that suggest stages for the develop of language, one popular theory is from the Psychologist Jean Piaget, in his theory he suggests four stages of cognitive development, stating that in the Preoperational stage, by the age of seven years old ,children will develop language.

Word Wall
Word walls are part of the literacy environment in the classroom, it is an effective strategy teachers use to help students acquire new vocabulary. In the word wall students and teachers add words that are unfamiliar to them when they read stories, books, magazines or any other articles.
Tompkins (2014) states, Word walls are useful resources: Students locate words that they want to use during a grand conversation or check the spelling of a word they’re writing, and teachers use the words for word-study activities.
When teachers create word walls, they locate a strategic space in the classroom, where students can see it and refer to it when need it. Also, word walls are usually organized in alphabetical order. It is important to emphasize that word walls are not just a part of decoration in a classroom, it is meant to help students expand their knowledge and vocabulary.
