Why Should We Replenish The Rainforest? Most people already know the rainforest is suffering, but do you know just how much we would be impacted? So, why should we replenish the rainforest? There are many reasons to save the rainforest, such as products and animals and the ecosystem, but the most important reason I think is the environmental impact. Products: One reason we should save the rainforest is the products we extract. In documents by Rain Forest Products and America’s Medicine Cabinet, they provide examples of products that have greatly improved our lives, or maybe even saved our lives. If our rainforest were to perish, many lives would be impacted, and death rates would go up. This evidence supports the claim that products are a reason …show more content…

Document A shows how all the animals are connected to each other, while document C shows all the benefits of the animals and ecosystem. I theorize that if only one animal were to go extinct, hundreds of animals would starve, and it would cause a chain reaction all around. This evidence supports the claim that animals and ecosystems are a reason to save the rainforest because it shows how even if one tiny animal was to go extinct, it could cause other species to starve and become extinct. Another way this evidence supports the claim is because if these animals died out or starved, we wouldn’t have poisoned antidotes. Environmental Impact: While products, animals and ecosystems are important, the most important reason to save the rainforest, at least in my opinion, is the environmental impact. In documents Why is the Amazon rainforest important and Animal Food Web, they both lay out reasons why environmental impact is important. Document E specifically tells us how burning trees releases carbon dioxide and that the Amazon rainforest is responsible for 20% of the world's
