Why We Should Provide Bare Minimum Education

Is it typical to see teachers having all the resources they need to provide their students the best quality education? There are public schools all over the nation and those students in public schools are not getting the proper education that they need. It seems public schools only provide the public with the bare minimum education that is needed to somewhat succeed. In reality, most Supreme Court rulings agree that school districts across the country should only be provided the bare legal minimum. As a result, this bare minimum becomes very discouraging to parents, students, and the entire community in which the school is in. Even though teachers are supposed to just meet the requirements of standardized testing they still stay after school for hours on end planning, to ensure that every student gets what they need. We put way too much into the military and it actually ends up being more wasted when it could be used to better the education of children in America. Some may argue that public schools are funded enough, but most public schools around the nation do not have enough resources to teach properly and needs to be one of the top funded events. As stated by "DOC: Public Schools" “Since the 1960s, public schools have received significant amounts of federal support. However, schools must meet certain conditions, such as enrolling handicapped students, to qualify for some federal grants.” This proves that public schools is getting a good amount of federal support but it needs more recognition since education is always a top priority in our daily lives especially dealing with special needs and handicapped students. Overall, needs to be evaluated and addressed by the federal government so this problem can be taken care
