Why Teens Should Not Have Jobs

I believe that teens (ages 14-16) should not be able to have a job. Though 87% of the people in the US say that teens should have a job I say otherwise and I am going to change their minds! If kids have a job then they can’t focus on their school work and will fall behind in their education. Another reason why teens should not be able to have jobs is there are too many restrictions for kids they aren't allowed to do most of the things that everyone else can do like working the grill or going in the freezer to get cooking supplies etc. My third reason why teens should not be able to have jobs is there is too much stress that comes with having a job and even when you know that you have that much homework to do when you get home. A teen should never have to go through that. “I don't think we should have a job because we have school to worry about and then we get home and most likely have homework. If we have jobs then we don't have any time for ourselves. School is more important than having a job at such a young age.” -click here. It states here that we need time to be ourselves and if we have a job then we will have to stay up extra late at night just to finish our homework or assignments. In this quote it also says that it puts too much stress on us knowing that right after our job then we have to go home and finish all of our homework and assignments. If you stay up to finish homework then you will be too tired and won't be able to focus in class. Having a good education is more important than having a low paying minor job because if you have a high education then later on you will have a better job and you won’t be stuck with a McDonalds job that barely get you by in
