Steven Spielberg is a film producer, screenwriter and co-founder of Dreamworks, but is most recognized as one the greatest directors of all time. War of The Worlds, Indiana Jones, Saving Private Ryan, E.T, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Schindler's List and, soon enough, Ready Player One are some blockbuster films that Spielberg has directed himself. Spielbergs’ directed films have made over 9 billion dollars worldwide, making him the highest-grossing director in history. His work is so well known and influential to so many others like James Cameron, Peter Jackson and Ridley Scott. Reasons why Steven Spielberg is so successful is because he had a vision, practice and an internship. Steven was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to a Jewish family which later moved to Phoenix, Arizona. His mother, Leah Adler, worked at a local restaurant while his father, Arnold Spielberg, was an electric engineer. Steven also had three younger sisters, Nancy, Anne, and Sue. With already having two amature films under his belt by the age of 18, Steven had already practiced his craft enough to be taken more serious when trying to film Firelight. He somehow managed to talk his way into getting the Baptist Hospital in Phoenix to leading him a room and hospital equipment, as well as , getting to use an actual jet plane.
