America was built for freedom and opportunities that our forefathers could not get anywhere else, especially where they came from. The central idea that I believe to be most important is “to build”. My father came to America to rebuild his life where he knew he’d be proud of the outcome that he could give to his future family. That’s why many of us are here today. Our parents chose to stay in America for what it offers: freedom, opportunities, and a place where we can come together to learn of new cultures and beliefs while not being afraid of expressing our own. The first thing that comes to mind when you say “America” is freedom. Our constitution gives us the freedom to say whatever the fuck we want (albeit still being at the mercy of public opinion). The people who protest that God hates Gays are allowed that right not because it's the greatest or best thing but because without those extreme types of opinions we would be allowing the government to pick …show more content…

We are able to express our own new Americanized cultures without losing our tradition. America is the only country in the world that has embraced all types of cultures in pop culture, movies, TV shows, and music with the best of the best people. America attracts talent and has enough money for these talented individuals’ skills to truly shine. Because of this, America studios own all but one spot in the top 100 Worldwide Grossing Movies chart from Box Office Mojo, a site owned by Amazon that analyzes box office revenues. The impact that our media has on the rest of the world is our biggest export as it doesn’t relate just to the monetary but the mindset that it provides for others around the world. The mindset that anything is possible in America, is one of the things that sets America from the rest of the world.
