That one important goal is that everybody wants to go to college and graduate from it. You meet tons of new people throughout your classes but every single one of them cannot wait till the day they graduate and move onto their future job which is not even promised. College helps people mature individually. It’s the first time people live by themselves in certain cases and you are certainly responsible for your actions. If you don’t do your homework then you will have a bad grade. In

high school teachers are way more lenient then college. People learn to grow up and it helps them in life. You learn many things from college but you should never see college as a roadblock. You should see college as a way that can help you in life one way or another. Don’t make it your only goal though because with consistent mistakes you can end up messing up your career.

If you do not want to go to college you can do everything yourself. You will need to find out what you want to become. This has to be something you are real passionate about. Study what you want to succeed in. You can go about many different ways if you do not want to go to college. It’s not your only option in life to go to college which is why many people get confused. They think that they are supposed to go to college because it’s the right thing. No law says that you need to go to college to do what you like in life. Many people get confused and believe that college is the only way to life. Universities make so much money yearly so why would they not want someone else paying them to go to school. People pay for their education and a lot of the time don’t receive their dream education so it really isn’t worth the money. Many students are failing to get their money’s worth, they just end up making the bad choices in college. Even if you are extremely smart in that subject the person who goes through the job applications will put yours in the trash first simply because you have no degree. Back in the day having a college degree was not so important. People could have gotten a high school GED diploma and would get a really good paying job. Now a days things do not work like that. You need to go to college for over 4+ years to get a decent paying job. If you believe in yourself and believe that you can go far without school than you should do that. It should mean an opportunity to learn what’s necessary to get a good job.” Instead of learning things that are not important to us we should be learning things that will help us get jobs and resolve this unemployment problem. Many of the graduates leave college and expect to start working when it does not go like that. Many are left without jobs which stresses a whole lot of people out. In Germany “The skills taught are based on industry standards, and courses are designed by businesses that need the graduates. So when young Germans get their degrees, jobs are waiting for them.” (salon.com) Once the Germans finish school they know what information they need to work which makes life easier for most of them. They don’t waste their time, they make sure everyone gets the proper education so that when they finish there would be jobs for them. This is very smart and works out for everybody. We should not copy the idea but have something in similar interests. Some people also go to college without actually knowing what they want to do. This can either be good or bad. They come to college open minded and have some time to decide on what they would like to do. If they do not decide though then you would be forced to pick something that you are not truly interested about. Coming to college open minded may help you find something that you would have never thought of before. It can also be a risky problem. You should never let others decide on what you want to do with your life. Many students in college have the same goal which may influence you on choosing another degree which you truly do not want. You also might chose a certain degree because the job pays higher. Money should never make you choose what you want to do because at the end money won’t be the thing keeping you happy and more than likely you will regret it. You can work as a freelancer at your house and be happier than some guy in an office making three times your salary. Be happy with the choice you make, that’s all that really matters.

Things that they had wanted to do could have been changed due to the fact that they owe so much money and they only work to pay off that student debt. (MichelleAdams) It changes someone’s life as you can see from these statistics. If you are not financially stable college will make things even worst for you. If someone gets a job that pays adequately then everything should be fine. A college degree does help you get a job that pays more. Depending on which degree you have you will earn more money. If you have a PHD then you will be earning more than somebody with a bachelors in the same field. That’s what makes the extra years’ worth it. The Economic Letter by Mary C. Daly says “Other analysis confirms that college graduates start with higher annual earnings, indicated by an initial earnings gap, and experience more rapid growth in earnings than members of their age cohort with only a high school degree. This evidence tells us that the value of a college education rises over a worker’s life.” The more you work for what you want the more you earn. If you work hard in college to receive your masters you will be receiving a job in your field that pays pretty well. Everything at the end pays off. If your life goal is to receive a bachelors in computer science then so be it. Nothing should get in the way of what you want.
