As a senior, choosing a college and starting the application process is a very overwhelming journey, because this is the start to finding myself and figuring out who I want to be. In the past months as I looked at the variety of colleges and thought to myself which college would be the one for me, there were two questions I asked myself: “Do I want to go far and expand my horizon, explore the world?” or “Do I want to stay close; coming home each weekend to the sweet aroma of my father’s cooking and my mother’s warm embrace?” I figured I could have a balance between these two questions if I make a good choice.
