In Utopia, another decides everything. Your life, job, mate and more.

Rarely, if anything is deemed different, the leaders, or officials, will try to

demolish that disparity. Violence can, and will, be used as a method to cleanse

the discrepancy; as shown in the Giver and Divergent. In the Giver, it displays

that everything is the same. Hair, race, education, etc. Any difference will be

eliminated. In rare cases, if there are twins, the weaker one is killed off while the

stronger one survives. Within Divergent, if you fit in more than one faction, you

are deemed ‘Divergent’. Divergents, in fact, are hunted down and killed. Inside

about the games. We learn that the Capitol experiences the Games differently than

District 12. The Capitol finds it just mere entertainment.

Most Humans believe that, however, Utopia is the perfect place to reside in. But if

we revealed the misfortunes and risks that Utopia gives, surely they would change their

minds. With no –free- will and creativity, life would become boring. Especially if we

followed the same routine, the same cause every single day. As shown in many novels

such as The Giver, Divergent and The Hunger Games without question people will try to

change that problem. That society. Chaos will rise and possibly deaths. Our problems will

get worse and worse, then it’s too late.

The idea of Utopia is extremely popular, but also very deceiving. With
