Some people think that school should be free for everyone. Some people think that this is a bad idea. I think this because of several reasons. There are many reasons for both sides but there is only one correct side. I believe that the cons is the correct side in this debate. Some reasons for why I believe this are: money for the school, financial issues, more people at college, and many more. One of the issues with free education is money for the school. One good thing about free education is that more lower income students will reach graduation. The thing with this is that the money has to come from somewhere. Saying that these lower income students might reach graduation is saying that people that cannot afford or pay for the tuition can go to college for free. When saying that the money has to come from somewhere is saying that the college will not make people pay for the service that they provide. If a college would do this then where will the money come from to pay for teachers and all the school/class items needed to teach. …show more content…

One thing about the pro side is that student debt will no longer crush the future/younger generation/s. This is saying that student debt will basically disappear. Students will not be in debt because the education is free for everyone. This can be a bad thing because the future/younger generations will not know how to deal with a financial crisis or how to handle finances. This is bad because college is supposed to teach people stuff in and out of classes and one of the lessons that college teaches people out of the classroom is hot to handle debt and how to spend money but at the same time saving money.
