Bullying has only progressed over time with more and more uprising ways to damage a person being so accessible to anyone. Physical bullying includes punching, pushing or spitting may seem like such an old school and outdated form of bullying yet is still very common. Words progress further as more people are sharing their stories such as Brooke Bliss, Ella Collins-Godden and other you see most young people being bullied are still ashamed by their bruises, scars, marks hiding any evidence from their parents up to years before speaking up. Victims are fearful of what will happen if they speak up and scared that bullying will only get worse if they give the names in to the authorities of the bullies that have been tormenting them. But there are many reasons that a person succumbs to belittling others. Having popularity and being in the circle where all the fun is happening is what is important to most kids going thought their schooling years. As is the exact same for bullies, the feed off power and fear off everyone to raise themselves higher social. More often than not bullies may not have stable families. A persons family is a direct representation from where they come from so broken families that aren't warm and loving cause the kids to use a coping method that helps them have control in their life which is feeding off others sadness. Studies have shown that being both the bully and the victim has lead to greater health, financial, and social problems later in life. "Kids who bullied were more likely to have childhood psychiatric problems and difficulties with their family, which may have accounted for their problems later in life." States Dieter Wolke, a professor in the department of psychology at the University of Warwick. Kids who were also renowned to severely bully other growing up were found to be "six times more likely to have a serious illness, smoke regularly or develop a psychiatric disorder compared to those who did not bully anyone at all."
