1. I think Ron Clark left North Carolina School because he had always told his students to dream big and take risks so he followed his dream. I would not leave because of all of the success. If you are a success in a place why would you move?
2. Mr. Clark had gotten the 6 grade class to the top scores of the Harlem county. He had not quit while all the other teachers had. Ron Clark stayed with them until their exams that they got the top scores in Harlem County.
3. I thought at the beginning of the movie that some of the kids where bratzs. At the end I thought “WOW” how could a bunch of kids get it together in such a short period of time. It really inspired me especially the kids. I also thought that it was hard on the kids to have parents that work two jobs, abuse you, and had you at 14.
4. It surprised me at the end of the movie that Tayshawn got abused ,and that Mr. Clark took him with him and

tried to help him. It also surprised me that Mr. Clark shook the desk with Shamika in it. Mr. Clark surprised me by inspiring all of the kids and pushing them to greatness. 5. Expectations are strong beliefs that something will happen or be the case in the future. The principal has strong expectations on the students all he wants are the test scores to be brilliant. The principal's expectations infect Mr.Clark of all people he has to teach the kids everything for the test. Mr.Clark has to earn the respect of the principal by getting all of the exam grades up. 6. The students really did not have any expectations for themselves. All they did was bring themselves down and say that they could never do it. The teachers had so many expectations for their students to do well on the exams, to be good in class, to not vandalize the classroom, and to do their best. Mr.Clark had the expectations to get the students to do their best, to dream big ,and always be a family. The kids had not many expectations for each other they just wanted them to be cool like them and not care about school. The adults had so many expectations like the principal to Mr. Clark 7. The teachers had a lot of expectations on the students like they had to make an A or B on their work. The kids also had to have good grades on the exams. The students had to behave and not be disrespectful. The parents just wanted them to learn but had really no interest in having their kids do their work or helping them. The parents just wanted them to learn and that was all. The principal had so many expectations on the students. All the principal wanted to do with the students is have them pass the exams that is all that he wanted besides behavior. 8.
“No one believed in them. Except him.” This means that he pushed them to do their best and encourage them to be who they want to be. He believed in them even though nobody thought that they could achieve. Their parents did not even believe in them. That saying means that at their part of darkness he was there to show them the way of learning.
9. I think Clark’s rules are so helpful to the class. My opinion on Clark’s rules are that they are great. They might not understand the rules at first but at the end they are so helpful to Ron I mean look how they trashed the place because of the rules at the end it is so helpful. It would be so helpful for me to explain to them that they are family and that they should always help each other.
10. When the students trash his classroom what Ron Clark does is amazing he does not get mad and he picks up the mess and paints the walls to cover the vandalizem. I don’t know how he did not have a panic attack. The next day when they came to class they were amazed on what had happened to the classrom and that their vandalizem was
gone. 11. Ron Clark learns how to dutch so that then the kids will learn everything for the 7th grade. It takes Ron a long time and he trips all the time until finally he dutches. All that Ron Clark does was for his students. 12. Ron Clark had a lot of milk chocolates so what he did is he took the milk cartons and said “ If you listen to my lesson every 15 seconds I will drink a milk carton. And if you are lucky you will get to see me puck.” They all said yes so every 15 seconds Ron Clark would drink a carton of milk. .13. To get the kids to learn all of the presidents Ron Clark made a rap. The reason he did this was because a rap is catchy and that was what all of the kids listen to. It was very smart of him to do this. 14. Ron Clark took the time and helped Julio at the cafe to help him with math. Ron Clark helped Shamika at her home with her homework. It surprised me that he took the time and actually helped the students. 15. Ron Clark changed the lives of his students by teaching them respect and taking them in when no one would. One example is Tayshawn gets abused and he is their to help him through it. Another example would be Shamika Wallace when he tries to teach her respect and he does. 16. I think that the rules made a very big difference in the classroom. Why? Well he had them be a family and make everybody help each other and not lie. They had them work together and be a team. He also teaches them lessons like they can be a family and the can learn. It is just like when Mr.Clark brought in the cake with candles the all light one except Tayshawn.
4. At that moment I couldn’t feel any more cynical about the way my friend was acting out.
13. The climax in my novel is when Jeff has to spy on General Watie.
Andy goes back to school and talks to his basketball coach about how he feels about Rob's death and how his fiends and family feel about the accident. In addition, they discuss Andy's sentence because Andy keeps punishing himself for Rob's death. Everybody at school was crying during Rob's memorial service. Grief Counselors from downtown come to the school to try to get the kids to share their feelings.
I think it did a great job of showing how a family can come to view addictive and abnormal behavior as normal. I would recommend this movie to friends. I feel that it gives great insight into the dynamics of how the disease of alcoholism can trickle down the family tree affecting everyone it touches in such profound ways. Other than the lack of physical abuse I could see myself playing most of the roles the kids did as far as lost child and hero, I remember trying to fulfill most of those roles when I was younger trying anything from trying harder in school to trying to do chores to perfection in the hopes that I could through my works keep my parents from drinking. Thankfully as I got older I came to understand that their drinking was their illness not mine and until they decided they had enough I could do nothing to help them, but love and pray for

2. In the movie, Cheswick doesn't drown, goes on the fishing trip, and is sentenced to the Disturbed Ward.
I truly enjoyed the movie, because of how honest it is about how people struggle, but never give up. It is a story of family and perseverance that is heart wrenching. I would completely endorse this movie and push it to be in the curriculum in the future. My hope is that students continue to over fill your class as you aloud me to do this semester. The movie explains so much of Deaf Culture that the standard population could really use to know. Which is probably why I whish the movie was more common in movie rental places, Hulu and other video cites. It is a fantastic movie with a fantastic message.
The book and the movie were both very good. The book took time to explain things like setting, people’s emotions, people’s traits, and important background information. There was no time for these explanations the movie. The book, however, had parts in the beginning where some readers could become flustered.
8. c. Rate the story on a scale or zero to 10 and explain why you gave it that rating.
24. How does the schoolboy perceive God? Is this your perception? Why or why not?
...r, this movie is lack of depth of storyline. The audiences can even predict what will happen in the next scenes. Moreover, the ending of this movie is too cheesy and irrational according to me. If only they change the ending to become more interesting and rational, I will give a four or five stars out of five. In spite of a lame twist ending, this movie is a perfect example to show that managers should be able to motivate and challenge their employee. It is important to remember that a happy employee means a productive employee.
I was faced with a difficult decision when choosing to stay at Sheridan or coming to Mid-East. Part of me did not want to leave Sheridan because of my friends, classes, teachers and of course just being shy. I think going to Mid-East was the best decision I have made for many different reasons. One reason is because I enjoy all of my academic classes, here at Mid-East I am doing a lot better academically. I have been on the honor roll many times including the last grading period. Another reason I think going to Mid-East was a great decision is because of lab. I love working with the children in lab because they are all really funny and make me laugh often. I also enjoy lab because I am doing hands-on things everyday with children, which is
I believe this movie does a good job incorporating what we have discussed in class in terms of adolescent development. Although the movie is greatly exaggerated and blown up, the movie does emphasize on key factors to the development of an adolescent. Aside from the self-identity and friendship, the film incorporates parental relationships, academics, teacher-student relationships, risky behaviors, and moral development during adolescent
Although I enjoyed the main portion of the movie, there were some obvious likes and dislikes in my opinion. I believe that I learned from this movie and it helped me understand more of what the people of that time were feeling.
...ferences between book and film are that in a book everything is in more detail and you’re informed of every little change happening constantly whereas in a movie you do get a bigger and clearer view of the situation but sometimes you might just miss out a few important bits that are told in detail in a book. The movie looks really realistic. The problem of using children in films is that children can be so naive they might not be able to handle the scenes and deliver their speech very efficiently, some parts of the film might affect them by frightening them and they might not be able to give their best in that scene, this could affect the quality of the movie. The terrible outcome that Bruno faces could have an emotional effect on the younger audience. I would recommend teenagers to watch this movie and read the novel because it is very educational and emotional.
