I am interested in attending this seminar because I know it’s the place I belong. Since I was eight-years-old it has been my belief that one day I would attend the academy and accomplish my dreams and goals of making my country proud. I am the perfect candidate. I have determination, knowledge, motivation, and most of all, the desire for more. I want more knowledge, more teamwork, more of whatever it is that can make me better than I was the day before, and the Naval Academy can do that for me. I have received many awards and leadership positions. I have been honored with numerous certificates of academic excellence which include: computer applications, digital communications, ACT Prep, and Geometry. I’m also certified in Microsoft Office 2013
National Technical Honor society is a prestigious club. Having the opportunity to apply for this prestigious society had left one honored. Being in such a prestigious program will open many more doors, and give one more opportunity to succeed in the future. I feel that all the candidates for this prestigious program have the grades and are all capable of being part of this program, but I also feel that by describing my unique set of skills I can merit membership into National Technical Honor Society and be a beneficial member.
Meeting these heroes is what motivated me to apply. These brave warriors offered the ultimate sacrifice for their country. They became the best of the best. They became my role models and my idols. As I held my saber high above their heads, I realized what I wanted to do with my life; I want to be an aid to those in need while being the best I can be. I don’t want to be a hero. I just want to help find justice and peace in this world. I realized that day that the best way to do this would be to join the military. My original plan was to enlist, but I also want to go to college and continue to learn and better myself. Therefore, I made the biggest decision of my life. I decided to apply to the United States Military Academy. I decided to apply to stand side by side with some of the smartest, bravest, and toughest heroes America has to offer. The graduates of the United States Military are considered the best of the best which is what I wish to
FBLA has been such a defining point in my high school career and vital part in who I am today and even who I will be in the future. Becoming an officer would allow me to see to that other students that are new to FBLA also experience the same things as I have so that they could not only grow within FBLA but also in life. I hope to, as part of becoming a potential officer, that I can encourage others in FBLA as was done to me by older peers. Hopefully with this, we can have a large increase in membership and activity to improve our chapter.
I am exceptionally grateful for this opportunity to possibly be a member of this very prestigious organization. Every day I work tremendously hard to be noticed by both other scholars and my teachers. Now that an opportunity has come, I am truly excited to demonstrate and live by the values of The National Junior Honors Society. I hope to further expose and show both my dedication and want to join arms with my community and my peers and I wish to continue to work with passion and fire to shape the world into a brighter place.
The NJROTC, or Naval Junior Recruit Officer Training Corpse, is built not only to teach high school students about the navy but also allows student to become our great leaders of the future. In NJROTC cadets are asked to live up to very high standards because those students in NJROTC are thought of as the best of the best and are at that school to represent the military way of life. In this program I have learned three traits that will help me better myself not only in the future but in the day I live today. These traits that I speak of are discipline, punctuality, and respect. If not for NJROTC I would have not been as great a person and would have little or no direction in my life.
I wish to take the time to give thanks for this impeccable opportunity in applying for the highly sought after National Honor Society. I have been looking forward to embarking on this journey since I heard about this organization freshman year. I am truly elated to be one of the many students that qualifies, as I know the standards of excellence and character that must be exemplified and met.
As a student at Northvale Public School, I have grown up with my older siblings being inducted into an organization called the National Junior Honor Society. I had seen all the hard work and dedication they put into their school work and activities just to get into this society, making me want to be just like them. Then a few weeks ago, I found a note on my desk in homeroom telling me that I had been nominated to be apart of this society. Through citizenship and character, leadership, and service, I intend on being inducted into the society I have heard so much about. Though it will take a lot of effort this school year, being a part of this society is a dream of mine that I will make sure to come true.
For years I have aspired to become a part of an elite organization such as the military, and more importantly, the United States Navy. Its reputation for instilling high moral character was encouragement for me to develop into a more mature, responsible, and independent young citizen. There are certain qualities that an officer must possess such as: honor, courage, commitment, and attention to duty, responsiveness to orders, cooperation, loyalty, leadership, integrity, and discipline. Throughout my high school career, I showcased these qualities while an active member of The American Legion of Ohio Buckeye Boy’s State, The National Honor Society, as a leader in the Ohio State Highway Patrol Junior Cadets, Clay and Waite High School Marching Band Alumni, Quiz Bowl, and Top Ten Scholars. I was actively involved in charitable activities such as Math and SOS tutoring, community volunteering, and the Indian 100 Leadership Team, (a volunteer organization on my high school campus). I have shown strength, perseverance and leadership in my participation in wrestling, cheerleading, and bodybui...
I am profoundly honored to be among the exceptional people who are being noticed for the National Honor Society. Being considered to join the National Honor Society is an honor in itself. It proves to me that I have accomplished my goals and worked to the best of my ability. In all my years as a student I have always tried to do the my best to get the highest grades. I do not just focus on my academics, I also strive to be a benefit to Stevenson High School. Achieving my goal in becoming a member of the National Honor Society would give me a great sense of honor and joy both academically and personally. As a human being I have aspiration and academic excellence to offer to the National Honors Society. I would be thrilled to join The
The National Junior Honor Society is a very respected and prestigious organization that I would be glad to be a part of. The students involved exemplify scholarship, leadership, service, character, and knowledge. All of which are traits that are incredibly important in my own life. I feel that each student with the privilege to commit to this foundation should devote some time and effort to those qualities.
My initial reason to enter the Air Force was a great way to pay for college which turned into a call of duty and a service commitment which has actively allowed me to contribute to the Air Force mission. Thus far I have led a joint force search and rescue effort and a multinational exercise to preserve freedom. As an F-15E instructor WSO and combat mission ready WSO I actively contribute to ensure our freedoms are preserved and the attacks of September 11, 2001 will never happen again.
I am deeply honored to be among the exemplary students who are eligible for the National Honor Society. The National Honor Society is an exceptional organization that allows students to help the needy, children, the elderly, and the community. I want to be a member of National Honor Society because of the limitless opportunities it presents to me. Throughout my years as a student, I have shown Academics, Leadership, Service, and Character that help qualify me to be a member of this great organization.
I would like to attend AIM in order to get an idea of what life at the Coast Guard Academy is like. I have always loved being on the water and boating, and I am interested in pursuing a career on a boat with the Coast Guard. I would like to study Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, while doing something meaningful; I believe I could achieve both of these things at the Coast Guard Academy. Everything I have read about the Coast Guard Academy interests me, but I would like to experience the culture first hand. I am interested in learning more about the military lifestyle to help me decide if it is the right one for me. At AIM, I would like to learn more about the academy, broaden my horizons and meet new people with similar interests.
As a succeeding individual that not only started off with struggles that I have overcome but also is severely interested in my education I believe that out of the million of application that I have not yet seen that I am capable of being the scholar that deserves the admission. Coming from a high school where I earned over 50 college credits is only one of the many achievements I achieved this far towards my career. I have been very interested in a variety of science classes primarily chemistry and biology. With my enthusiasm and curiosity in the medical field, I acknowledge that these classes are impacted greatly upon the admission of a pharmacy program college. During chemistry, I was able to experience building molecules and the components of their functional groups and instrumental analysis. I was very engaged in an experiment where we were able to make new molecules and treat them as a disease. We were able to figure out a cure, symptoms and treatment of this disease. I
I am very excited to apply to NDCR Cristo Rey High School. I have met a few alumni’s from the school, who have only positive things to say about the school and its courses. I am super excited that the school offers affordable private college preparatory education for low-income families. With speaking with the NDCR alumni’s they state that the school is a small and family oriented, something I am looking for in a high school. Another reason why I want to attend NDCR is the opportunity to attend the corporate work-study and having a professional work experience. The young men and woman from NDCR receive a great education and achieve a wonderful professional resume throughout the years. NDCR has high standards for the students, which will help me, grow academically. NDCR will also help me in the future by giving me an opportunity to achieve the goal of attending college. This great school will help shape my future and goals to venture into different corporate work-study. My areas of interest are dentistry; I
