"A Fire Inside, to me, means these three other guys who drink all the soymilk backstage before I get a damn drop of it." Jade Puget, the guitarist for AFI, jokes. AFI is the greatest band. Of course, the music is also great. Those factors are topped, though, by the hardcore dedication of their fans.
AFI is composed of Davey Havok ? vocals, Jade Puget ? guitar, Adam Carson ? drums, and Hunter Burgan playing bass. Davey and Jade are both very funny and often make stupid statements and inside jokes that only a true fan would understand. ?Davey doesn?t watch the damn road when he?s driving.? Jade commented once. ?I?m sure if we crashed he would be fine and I would end up embedded in a tree. If her ever kills me with his driving, though, I?m gonna come back as a squirrel and run up his pant leg.? The band often references homosexuality in their quotes, but none of them are gay. The band gets along well, and gets along with their fans.
AFI has released seven full-length albums, along with a number of EPs. Their music changes with every CD, sometimes drastically. The shift from their 2000 album ?The Art of Drowning? to their 2003 ?Sing the Sorrow? took the band in a completely different musical direction. Their style changed from old-school punk to more of a horrorpunk ? electrogoth sound. No matter what they decide to do with their music, though, they are extremely talented musicians and have never produced a bad album.
What keeps AFI going the most, however, is the loyalty of its fans. The league of the followers that they have established is known as The Despair Faction. In the song ?Miss Murder?, The Despair Faction provides backing vocals. Hundreds of fans were invited to chant the ?hey? in the background of the chorus. AFI loves its fans, and even let some of them have a segment in their ?I Heard A Voice? DVD. They get to actively participate in the band?s music.
Being an AFI fan is the greatest thing in the world.
Through ten years of musical production, Rivers Cuomo has held on to most of his fans. Weezer has created four CDs, selling over five million albums throughout this decade. Because Weezer has certain elements within their musical styles unlike any other band, fans that they have collected over the years continue to listen the their music, and are always awaiting new, and innovative songs.
Burning through much of their improvised set list like a fuse doused in gasoline, the Mexico City duo and flamenco-instrumentalist heroes ignited a riotous celebration within a crowd that raved and danced to tunes from their extensive album discography.

Keeping each other and themselves alive the band learns to survive by finding shelter, finding food and finding collaboration. They are also people who learn how to overcome hardships and gain more ability from their experience. Knowing people who are the smartest are not always the ones that survive, but instead are those who learn to adapt and manage change.
I'm in the band. No, scratch that; I'm more than just in the band. I am the band. Unless, of course, that makes me sound conceited. In which case, I describe myself as an integral component to the marching band. The band would never be the same without me! I admit it: I'm a band nerd, a music nut, and a clarinet geek. You can describe me with whatever phrase you want. Regardless of how you look at it, I'll always be a band geek, and I'm proud of it!
Ethos: The credibility of Anti-Flag, as of right now, is growing enormously. All the other punk bands look to these guys and marvel at how much they are defending their beliefs. For example, a person is watching his or her favorite band play and he or she begins to talk of how great Anti-Flag is. Immediately one could pick up on that and want to get to know more about Anti-Flag. It is a chain reaction of learning about other bands through bands that he or she already knows. If Anti-Flag are respected by bands that were the original punk-rockers such as Bad Religion, NOFX, and The Clash, then they will be admitted into the fan base of such bands. As long as a band can get a well known band to show favor, the band will be more accepted by the fan-base community. This is ironic because the band does not have to make good music as long as a respected band likes them.
Two years in the making, countless hours of songwriting, guitar tracking, recording, then multiple lawsuits by record companies and the end result is the masterpiece that is A Day To Remember’s Common Courtesy album. To most people, the entire genre of metal, hardcore, or punk music is all just one big idea of devil worshipping and ignorance, these misconceptions are so false it’s almost unfair. The detail and progression of the music in these genres is so advanced that it is devastating to musicians that most people don’t consider it music. A Day To Remember is the pinnacle of what melodic hardcore, or “pop-mosh” music is, they are the best musicians and make the biggest impact on the scene and the world. In a world that only focuses on what Miley Cyrus is doing and in a genre that is mainly only heard by angry heartbroken teenagers, ADTR has been able to solidify themselves into the musical world and that is what makes their new album “Common Courtesy” an iconic part of hardcore music.
...leased on DVD as “Live at Donington”. A year later, AC/DC recorded "Big Gun" for the soundtrack of the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie “Last Action Hero”, and was released as a single reaching No.1 on the US Mainstream Rock chart, the band's first No.1 single on that chart. The band is currently in the making of a new album, supposedly. It is still the same lineup and their most recent tour “Black Ice” sold out shows wherever they went. The band claims that they are still together and are planning another tour, which just goes to show how much of a powerhouse AC/DC really is.

Throughout the decades the face of rock music has changed drastically because of a series of small events that have occurred for example, the song that saw the birth of early rock music The Comets hit Rocket 66 a 50's classic that endeared audiences with its atypical crunchy guitar tone, this was brought about by Ike Turner who dropped his guitar amplifier outside of the recording studio causing the amplifier to break and distort the sound this small accident caused Rock and Rock if we fast forward around 20 years and you have a young man called Tony Iommi working in a steel factory in Birmingham when he loses concentration severing the tips of two fingers causing him to de-tune his guitar to make it playable for his injured left hand and this spawned the birth of Heavy Metal music or is this all just a music purists point of view? or is there more to this than the cute stories and our perception that all of these outcomes could have been predetermined by previous events? could it be that we as listeners, consumers and human beings have manipulated the evolution of rock music to suit our personal tastes to feed our hunger to feel at one with the music? which leads me to authenticity. A few aspects of the criteria for music to be deemed authentic can be broken down into two main categories these are what sub genre of rock music is it and how is it related to its social class and the common behaviour within that class, for a quick example if The Sex Pistols famed for their bond with the working class turned round only to sport a posh upper/middle class accent would they have been billed as the working class heroes? or would they have been merely cast as posh boys playing loud music but with nothing to shout about. The genres of mu...
... today's hard rock and heavy metal acts. Many critics in today's world regard Metallica as a legendary band, compared to the likes of Led Zeppelin from the seventies. One thing is for sure, Metallica has left an indelible mark in today's music world.
... the end, getting your music on a series is a positive thing, but I think you also need a killer live show, killer songs to compete, and have staying power as a new band.”
Being on the cutting edge of bizarre, alternative music is an elite privilege, complete with buzz words to exclude the mainstream. The music makes or breaks the scene. One rave deejay explains to Rosen and Flick (1992), "A great rave or techno record is like a religious experience. A bad one will give you a headache
Bangladesh is a new born (1971) country. Thus, the Bangla rock music is a fairly new concept. However, history of Bangla rock music can be traced back to 1960’s when few self taught musicians stated covering rock music from around the world especially the western rock music. From there Bangla rock music has come quite far and over the years produced lot of great rock bands and musicians. However, Bangla rock for some reason could not make up to the world stage of rock music, probably because of the language. My favorite band is “Aurthohin”, a Bangla rock heavy metal band. Aurthohin is a fairly new band established in 1998 by their bass guitarist, vocalist, and song writer Sumon AKA BassBaba. Aurthohin is known for their heavy metal music along with few melodic numbers and their poetic lyrics. In recent years the band has shown influence of punk and alternative rock in their music.
We all think of coldplay as an amazing group of men doing their passion and giving happiness to everyone. If you don't know what Coldplay is well, Coldplay is four men very passionate in music and so they created a band called coldplay. Every one loves their music like me. I love there song attention and when I got to know the history of it it amazed me.
