Next up, we have Romeo, ne of the main characters in the play.
How could he be responsible? One may ask, Just because he is a main character, it does not always mean he is not guilty for the two deaths, his own, ond juliets. Almost the second Romeo saw Juliet, he was madly in love. If Romeo would have got to know Juliet, it could have possibly turned into a different possibility. Plus he came to a conclusion very quick, he thought that Juliet tokk her life and Romeo, for some reason, had to take his own in return.”Is it even so? Then i defy you, Stars!”(DBQ:Prodject,2013) This is just one of the many things that made him
guilty. Friar Lawrence, possibly the least guiltyest. How could someone like Friar lawrence be guilty? Its quite simple, first off he is the one that Romeo knows and possibly trusts more than anyone else. So, if Romeo gets news from him, Romeo is going to trust it. When Friar lawrence gave Romeo the news of Juliets death, he was terrified, which plunged him to commit suicide. Plus Friar lawrenceis the person who gave Juliet the poition that would make her look like she was dead, it would lower her pulse to where the others could not find it and how she breathed. Notto mention he is the one that married them.”So smile the heavens upon this holy act… These violent delights have violent ends…” (DBQ:Prodject,2003). That explains why Friar Lawrence is one of the three. In the play, Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespear, the question was, “Who is the most guiltiest person for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet?” The clear answer to this question is Fate. Fate causes somany problems during the story and ends up being the reaon of the two deaths. Since fate is behind all of this, that means that Romeo and Friar Lawrence, being as guilty as they are, they are just outrunned by fate.
In the end Romeo is responsible for five deaths, Mercutio, Tybalt, Paris, Juliet and himself. Juliet kills herself because she is under different circumstances and does what she feels is the only option left. Juliet is courageous and strong for seeking advice and not being overly sensitive. Romeo is not only weak and foolish but is responsible for the tragic death of his own and Juliet’s.
