Who is Responsible for the Tragic Deaths of Romeo and Juliet

'Romeo and Juliet', a tragedy written by William Shakespeare in the 16th

Century all about two strong hearted teenagers in the city of Verona

in Italy who fall in love with each other as 'star crossed lovers'.

The two young teenagers of feuding families were destined to fall in

love, however many problems occur to the extent of suicide, that

affect their relationship, one of the main factors is the feud between

their two families.

Juliet is a Capulet and Romeo is a Montague. The play gives an image

of the desperate love between Romeo and Juliet and the violence

between the two families. The first scene in the play gives a glimpse

of the feud between the two families when two Montague's are

approached by Tybalt, and other Caplets, and a quarrel begins. The

play eventually results in suicide for the two young lovers and shows

how love can eventually end in a tragic mess. I believe that Romeo and

Juliet's death was needless because it was not themselves to blame

for, but the selfishness of their families and other people around

them. The hatred, quarrelling and feud between the two families made

their life unhappy because they could not lead a happy life,

relationship or even be seen in public together.

The death of Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy, however has many people to

blame. Romeo and Juliet are from two different families in the same

city, Verona. However the two families are bitter enemies, but nobody

actually really knows why. This makes it extremely difficult for Romeo

and Juliet to have a relationship, even though they were born many

years after this feud bega...

...in love within

minutes. Their relationship was made very hard by people around them

who made their life difficult. Neither Romeo nor Juliet had anyone

they could rely on. The nurse who was supposedly loyal to Juliet let

her down, and turned against Romeo due to the death of Tybalt. Friar

Lawrence tried his best for Romeo and Juliet and was sympathetic

towards them, but his plan didn't work. Their relationship started

very rapidly, and neither Romeo nor Juliet had planned what they were

doing. I feel that from a mixture of immaturity, hast, passionate

love, feud between their two families and number of other

untrustworthy people in their way, Romeo and Juliet's relationship

would have never worked. However, I do feel that Romeo and Juliet had

something incredibly strong between them, that it actually caused

suicide.
