What would have been your perspective on the seventies fashion, after been born into the nineties and living to see twenty-fifteen fashion trends? Would you prefer trends from the seventies or the twenty-fifteen? I personally prefer trends from the twenty-fifteen century. The style is more unique, reasonable, and up-to-date. We all are clearly aware that fashion trends from the seventies have changed tremendously. I had an interview with my aunt Jennifer and we had discussed all the different trends from the seventies to now. I think we can all agree that fashion has got better over the years. Honestly I do not think I would have dressed that way in the seventies. Aunt Jennifer is sixty-one she was born in nine-teen fifty-four from Point-Place Wisconsin. She said, “in the late seventies tracksuits and pants suits were worn by average people”. While she described others were wearing butterfly collars, tightly fitted tee shirts, bell-bottoms, sandals, leisure suits, flower patterned dress shirts, and tennis headbands. Jennifer said, “Green and orange was a common color for clothes and polyester was the common material”. Also, she mentions a lot of people were sewing clothes from their homes. She explicated that robes had become popular during the seventies and people would wear their robes out for a night on the town. Jennifer told me even side burns and chest hairs were a big deal then. I am glad I was not born before the seventies to experience their horrible fashion trend. I think people of the seventies had poor taste in clothing. If anyone was to wear a robe out the house in today’s society that person would receive criticism about it. I think the chest hairs and side burn was a foolish thing but only guys would understand
