Fast Food in moderation is good for you There are two views for different people that have different ways of seeing things. People see the good which is, its fast, cheap, tasty, convenient, and it hits the spot when you 're hungry and in a hurry. Then there 's the down side to it fast food is loaded with calories, sodium, fats, and oils. Some of the meals on the menu are full of calories fit to consume in an entire day. People who are trying to watch their weight and calorie intake have difficulty eating at a fast food restaurant. My opinion on fast food is that even though people know that it’s not rich in nutrients and is unhealthy to consume they still chose to eat it. I think that the consumption of fast food is alright as long as they Its just easier for them to go out and buy food whether its during lunch or after a long day at work. Cooking at home is such a hassle from going grocery shopping for the ingredients to preparing it and cooking it. Theres also resources like gas, cooking oil, and utensils all added together make cooking when living alone a very expensive. Going to any other place where they serve food quickly is an advantage because there 's no wait and its cheaper. Fast food is always cheaper for one person. Fast food does raise health concerns. However, if careful, you can find some options on the menu of fast food restaurant that could be healthier. a salad or choosing a grilled chicken or fish or a low fat drink or also choosing a whole wheat bun instead of a regular bun you can also choose lean meats. Choose no carbonated drinks, diet soda, low fat milk, or fast food consumption is generally unhealthy and is leading to an alarming increase in obesity in both children and adults. People should definitely stay active if they are going to be consuming any type of fast food instead of putting blame on franchises for their unhealthy lifestyle and obesity. People need to take responsibility for their own actions they 're grown enough to know what that type of food can do and if they 're not grown enough then they have someone older who should be taking care of what they 're eating. Everyone should know that eating fast food more than twice a week can be a very dangerous and risky thing to do knowing all the different diseases that you can develop through time. Im not trying to say fast food isn 't unhealthy or that its not bad for you. What i am trying to say is that you can 't just expect to consume an over proportioned meal regularly without gaining weight or having a greater risk of cardiovascular diseases as well as other life threatening diseases. If people learned how to control their fast food proportion consumption they wouldn 't be sueing and complaining about how unhealthy they are or how much weight they have gained by eating out. People need to
Throughout the United States many American’s go through and eat at fast food places such as, McDonalds, Burger King, and Jack ‘n the Box. This was the main premise for writer Dave Zinczenko essay Don’t Blame the Eater, who makes an argument that many people are becoming obese and diabetic because of the fast food they eat. He asks a regarding his concern; Shouldn 't we know better than to eat two meals a day in fast-food restaurants?, As a way to engage the general public, like parents and teenagers, he expresses his argument through his own experience when he was a teenager eating at fast food places and information on the fast food industry in regards to how many calories are in the food.

Life doesn’t slow down and sometimes it is just much easier and better for you timewise to just go through the drive through. In the article “Fighting the Fast Food Habit: Can America Downsize?” it basically says that even though most of the fast food chains and food suppliers are trying to decrease the unhealthy options on their menus, it is too late for it because of our eating habits. We want the unhealthy food. Companies are going to market to what the consumer wants. That’s how they make their profits. To sum it all up, companies are food options it a little healthier, but not for us, they only do as much that is needed for people to keep buying it and still feel like they are eating a little healthier. (Garcia 94) Just because a company says they are making changes doesn’t mean you’re eating healthy. It simply means they are making the food and drinks people are consuming a little healthier, however, it still shouldn’t be considered healthy. They do what they have to do to make money. All in all, you should consider eating less fast food and work toward adopting some good eating

So, in the long run, it is just easier to go pick up some fast food rather than wasting your time cooking an actual meal. Lastly, even though fast food is very cheap and in every corner, it is not healthy at all. Studies have proven that a person that ate McDonald’s for his meals for a full month ended up having some serious health problems. In conclusion, even though it is very easy to access and very cheap, fast food has some serious health issues and is very harmful.
Obesity is an epidemic in America. Fast food can be compared to the same type of mindless addiction as cigarettes, and can be equally as dangerous. Not only is there a problem with fast food restaurants, but the food industry as a whole. Slaughterhouses that control 80% of the market produce meat in such a way that is not healthy for consumption, in turn the products are doused in harmful chemicals and still served to the public. No wonder the obesity rate in America is 69% and rising. Obesity is a true problem in our country- people are neglecting their health and quite literally eating themselves to death.
We need to make people aware of the many side effects of eating fast food. They need to know what they are doing to their bodies. And if America still wants fast food, we need to have people exercise more, a lot of Americans out there eat a lot of fast food and then just don’t exercise. A lot don’t exercise at all. America is becoming obese.
Fast food has been part of life in the USA for over 60 years. It has become extremely popular by Americans simply for the convenience.
Is fast food to blame? Fast food restaurants advertise all their ingredients in plain sight. They provide healthy options to their more popular foods such as grilled items, skinless options, low calorie/no calorie beverages, and small portion orders. Most obese Americans are overweight because they are uneducated about the dangers of the fast food. Once they learn about eating healthy, managing overweight issues becomes more elementary. Fast food restaurants should not be the blame of American obesity because there are healthier options, self-discipline, and self responsibility for each individual.
There is a small relationship between fast food and cigarettes where each one significantly causes long term problems. Similarly, eating fast food and smoking too much becomes dangerously unhealthy and both are addicting. However, the difference is fast food started off on good terms. It was intended as a helpful way to provide meals quick and ready, thus given its name (Aldridge 279). Fast food restaurants successfully expanded and became popular all over the world. Despite the worldwide success and popularity, it did gain negative views after weight problems began to rise. The food served from the fast food industry was never considered healthy and soon became the target for the blame on health problems, specifically obesity. Although fast
Throughout the years, fast food is becoming more and more of an outlet for many people that are short on change, in a rush but still need to grab a bite to eat, or even who are just too lazy to cook a meal. Fast food is very cheap, yet when we eat it we don’t necessarily realize the price we pay when we are starting to gain weight. Who is to blame? The person that is addicted to fast food, or the fast food restaurants? I agree fast food is cheap, yet delicious. I understand that it may get addicting, I do not believe that it is the restaurants fault for your lack of self-control. Eating fast food all the time can put you up against some major health risks. As claimed by, “Fast Food and Obesity,” Every 4 out of 10 adults in the USA will become obese in the next 5 years if they keep eating this food the way they are.
Which all provide either ready to eat food, or it will be ready really quick, hence the name “fast food”. The process they use to make the food is very efficient, so efficient it makes you question if the food is really food. All the food is processed, all made in a factory somewhere, using god knows what kind of ingredients, then frozen and shipped to all the restaurants over America. People say that Americans are becoming addicted to it, or are addicted with the efficiency of it. Being able to stop quick, get fast food and go on about their day with minimal time loss. Why not right? Why wouldn't you save your time, by simply grabbing some fast food? Being that it’s so efficient, there’s no way that it’s going to have the same health value as a home cooked meal. Most of these meals are high in fat, calories, and sodium; this is because they are prepared in factories with little regard for dietary
A typical fast food meal is very high in calories and fat , and it doesn 't offer that much of the nutritional value. That being said, fast food is not really cheaper as people assume. It is actually more expensive as it leads to many additional cost
People find this ridiculous that all this food is so unhealthy and will blame fast food restaurants on that the most saying that they need to be healthier and not have such fattening food. One person on http://www.debate.org/opinions/is-fast-food-to-blame-for-obesity said, “They are giving people something bad, the food alone is to blame for obesity.” Another person said that they are to blame because fast food is behind it all, like all of the advertising and commercials for obesity. A lot of people also believe for it to be the environment and how fast food restaurants are there right around the corner and are very tempting and one site believes that it is because they are tricking society to eating processed junk foods. There are also a lot of risks that come with eating at a fast food restaurant also with obesity such as diseases and cancers and while they are good they are still very unhealthy
