In 1963 Edmund kemper committed his first murder at age fifteen and there was many more to continue. Edmund had a rough childhood, his parents threw a divorce. He moved with his mother and they had a rough relationship, she was an alcoholic. His mother was very critical of him and he blamed her for all his problems. She made him move to the basement because she feared he would hurt his sisters in some way. He had a dark fantasy life, he dreamed of killing his mother. He would cut the heads off his sisters dlls and he murder his cat with a knife. His mother sent him to live with grandparents. He had hated living on a farm with his grandparents. On the farm he had killed many birds and small animals with his rifle. They took it away from him after that. At age fifteen he turned on his grandparents. After getting into a fight with his grandma and shot her in the kitchen. When his grandpa came home he shot him by his car and hid the body. He picked up hitchhikers on the side of the road and would murder them. He murdered hitchhikers, college students, his grandparents, his mom and a friend of his mom's. He was charged with eight accounts of first degree murder and was found guilty. They asked him what his punishment should be and he said he should be tortured to death. Instead he received eight concurrent life sentences. This can be related to Jack because was a murderer and so were some of the other boys. Edmunds life proves that once you kill someone at a young age you will continue to be a murder. Jack and Edmund are also similar because they both have more than one victim. Jack could be considered a serial killer because he took part in two murders and tried attempted to murder another child. They both didn't stop at just one murder they continued to murder
