The Mongols, were they bloodthirsty or military genius? Researchers believe that Mongol armies were intelligent fighters and used many different forms of battle strategies. This opinion was based on their creation of the composite bow, their revolutionary leader and many other factors. I believe that the Mongols were a smart society, in which they planned their ‘brutal’ conquests and inventions strategically to create fear in their armies. To begin with, the Mongols were geniuses, strategically and battle-wise. This was all thanks to the superior tactics and ideas of Genghis Khan. The Mongols away from battle were a very modern society as well, but they were better known for their battles that's for sure. They fought so well since they had specifically designed groups and strategies for when they struggled. These bows were a strategic find for the Mongols. They worked very well in Genghis Khans' favour, they were lighter and easier to use on horseback whilst also packing a punch. They were used in Mongol battles very often and they helped gain the Mongols' rule of China and a victory in the conquest of Kharezm.
