A proper diet is one that sustains both mind and body. It should be well balanced and based on natural foods. Proper diet in yoga also means eating in moderation and eating only when you are hungry. We sometimes tend to eat when we are upset, using food to fill the gap or the emptiness that we feel. Food should nourish our body. This gave me enough time to tend to my daily needs and get some work done. There weren't as many activities compared to the Mind Body Conference, which was a relief because too much work would have left me exhausted. The yoga activity we did was fun and well worth it. At first, yoga was intense to a point where I couldn’t keep up, but after I settled in, it became very calm and relaxing. Unlike our usual yoga practices, this one was more soothing.

When people are asked why the travel the general answer is to experience a life different from their own. An escape from a person's normal life and to experience anew. So why when people travel do they live a more lavish life but one that is completely obtainable in their hometown. They don't experience anything different, they don't open themselves up to world and be in a new culture. Although some people share a different reason of traveling. To travel to learn and understand other cultures, to learn about themselves and what they are doing in this world. So how true is this, that when traveling to other cultures and regions it allows the traveller to experience new cultures, expand your knowledge, and learn about yourself.
I recently began taking classes at a traditional yoga studio in Bellingham. The studio is a walk-up with vaulted ceilings and one large intimidatingly beautiful. The first time I attended a session at there, I did not have a social script for attending a yoga class in this city, with this teacher, or even with the yoga style
Becoming a healthier person interests us all, from young to old, being fit is something we strive for. Nowadays, one means of achieving that goal is through yoga. Though the use of breathing exercises, meditation and strength postures, people have actually lowered their blood pressure, aches and pains fade away as their body becomes more athletic.

The goal of this study was to identify the ways in which engaging in yoga practices would alter psychological well being, and allow people to engage more fully in their lives and flourish in health and happiness. The pre and post test set up of this study allowed the researchers to see the ways in which students had been affected by their participation in the yoga teacher training. Yoga training students were engaged in a four week program. They were administered tests and the beginning of the study, prior to engaging in the program, at the end of the program, after completion, and then again at a 3 month follow up.
