Serial killers have always been around, and it takes some longer than others to get caught. Wayne Williams, a man from Atlanta, Georgia, turned out to be a serial killer. Children began coming up missing between 1979 through 1981 (Epstein, 1987). There was a string of murders of young boys, and this was known as the Atlanta Child Murders (Serial Killers, 2014). Police began to try and find out who was the murderer of the children that had been found missing and found dead. Atlanta police requested the help of the FBI in the case (Serial Killers, 2014). Before Williams was known to be a serial killer, he was pulled over just before 3 a.m. but was let go because there was no probable cause that he had done anything other than speeding across a bridge (Serial Killers, 2014). A couple of days later, law enforcement became suspicious of Williams because the body of a boy was found in the Chattahoochee River (Serial Killers, 2014). Nonetheless, the bridge that Mr. Williams was pulled over for speeding across was over the Chattahoochee River (Serial Killers, 2014). After a couple of days, a body was found in the river under the bridge that Wayne Williams had been pulled over on just days before (Serial Killers, 2014). Moreover, law enforcement discovered the man had been detained previously that same year for posing as a law enforcement officer, and it was discovered his cover story was not very good

As I am sure that the expert witness probably has testified in court before, we could make up questions that may be brought up in court and work through how they should be answered so a clear explanation is established. According to Champlin and others (2018), when presenting evidence in a court of law, expert witnesses are called upon to share their specialized knowledge on complex topics with the jury. To ensure that everyone in the courtroom can understand the evidence, it is particularly important that the expert explains any technical or business terms in simpler language (Champlin et al., 2018). It is crucial for the specialist to communicate the information in a non-technical manner so that the jury can fully grasp the significance of the evidence presented (Champlin et al., 2018). By doing so, the expert witness can help the jury make informed decisions and reach a fair verdict (Champlin et al., 2018). I would want forensic evidence to present to the jury to show what proof I have to show the guilt of Wayne Williams. Moreover, DNA evidence if there is anything that would like any DNA to Williams and the victims. There are reports of DNA being retested as of 2021 to link Williams to the other victims (Moffatt & Oppenheimer, 2021). I
