Wayne Grudem was concerned about the business employment aspect and how it significantly connected with God. Faith can impact how people emotionally approach their jobs. Many can discover the Christian’s experience by working. Most of the time working is not for profit or production, but to have a spiritual connection with God. Business for the Glory of God portrayed that employment is fundamentally good. However, many are still tempted to commit sin.

Employees show significant effort. In return, they want to get the money they deserve. However, bosses are seeing that people are receiving the same amount of pay whether they are lazy or hard working. God wants everyone to receive the equal amount of pay. He does not want people to argue about how one person received more than the other. Wayne did not believe in the Marxist theory. Instead, he believe that when a manager hires employees, both the manager and the employees should be receiving the amount of pay depending on how hard they worked. However, he emphasizes that managers should not give more work to employees if the employees are not receiving the amount they worked for. The Bible does not directly imply that wages are evil. Jesus emphasizes that people deserve the right amount of wages. This is stated in the Bible by the ideas of paying wages to employees. I was able to conclude that people should “be content with their wages” (Luke 3:14). This is assumed because when employees receives their pay from the manager, they are happy with their check instead of being unhappy about what others have. Mitchell O’Connor wanted teachers to receive equal pay. She believes that matter what subject the teachers teaches, they get the same pay. Some people are not lazy or a theft. Some people follow mangers’ rules honestly and they show that would not steal from the company. Some people can be lazy or bitter by having a manager they dislike. Sometimes they cause problems with other employee because they tell them what to do rather than helping them. Having a theft in a workplace might not come from having temptations to sin. As a result, someone might think that there is no camera or people around to watch them. Most of them commit sins without critically thinking. God does not tell people to do bad things. It is up to each person to do bad things because of their desire toward temptation. God will help them get out, so they will not suffer the temptations. Wayne compares temptations to sins. For example, an employer gives harshness, abuse, and unfairness. An employer gives less money toward an employee, so they would give in. Wayne believes that relationships are not neutral, but are good toward God. A relationship with an employer or employee can result to overcome temptation. T.J, the founder of Working Women of Faith, emphasized about how to overcome temptation. Dorothy L. Sayers defines a Christian’s work as a “...natural exercise and function of man- the creature who is made in the image of his Creator” (Sayers 194). Sayers summarizes her view on work by saying, “...it is the duty of the Church to see to it that the work serves God, and that the worker serves the work” (Sayers 198). Sayers finds the duty of work to rest not only with the Christian, but also with the church.

The depiction of Job in the prologue (1:1-2:10) of Job illustrates that Job is righteous in spite of a lack of afterlife belief because he fears God and wishes to live the best life possible. Job’s story is not a breaking of the covenant between God and man, but rather an example of the covenant’s true purpose to provide choice in how one reacts to a situation.
Throughout this paper I will discuss the book No Stones: Women Redeemed from Sexual Addiction by Marine Ferree. The book is written from the viewpoint of Marine Ferree, who shares her personal fight with sexual addiction. I will open with an introduction to No Stones to familiarize the reader with the book and the author. My paper will cover four main questions: the Problem, what does Ferree believe are some of the roots of female sexual addiction, treatment of sexual addiction, and sexual addiction and the church. I will also include my reaction to these questions.

First, employers should not underpay their employees with strong calling as it may be negative for the balance of the company. While it is often argued that these highly passionate individuals may be exploited by management more easily than others (Bunderson and Thompson 2009), which is said to be good for the employer as it allows him to reduce his costs, we would suggest that it is not a sustainable situation. It is immoral to exploit somebody and it could do great damage to the company if revealed by the press for instance. Similarly, this unethical situation may lead to the development of a feeling of injustice towards the company as the individual feels that he is not rewarded as much as he should be. This is a phenomenon called “distributive injustice” (Daniels, Norman, 1990).

Employers and employees have certain responsibilities towards each other which facilitate a fair and productive workplace. Positive work relationships create a cooperative climate with effort towards the same goals. Conflict, on the other hand, is likely to divert attention away from organizational performance.
The creation of man is told to be one of God’s greatest creation. A creation so great and precious that he made it in His own image- one without sin (Genesis 1:26-27). The occurrence of evil and suffering is greatly due to the Fall of Man. The idea of temptation is closely associated with evil because “sin is conceived in the internal stages of temptation and manifests itself in the external aspects” (Towns, 2012, p. 2). In other words, temptation is the root cause of man acting upon sin. A constructive approach on the theological definition, biblical foundation, and a practical application will be discussed throughout the paper to further elaborate and examine the Fall of Man and temptation.
