The lack of determination to rebuild broken trust is what ultimately drives people, however close, apart. Trust is the defining factor in what makes or breaks the relationship between two people, whether it be a friendship, business relationship, or romantic. Trust is one thing between two people that takes time and effort to build, and as it is growing, a bond between two people can form. In fact its one of the hardest things that two people will have to go through together. Trying to rebuild trust is like trying to put toothpaste back into the tube. It is possible to do, however it requires time, effort, and attention. Many people assume that because someone trusted them before it will not be hard and will not take very long to rebuild that trust. The opposite of this is true. Building trust to begin with takes time and you cannot rebuild 8 months of trust in less than a month. It takes an equal amount, if not more, time to rebuild broken trust. Rebuilding trust is not a destination. It's not a place you can find a shortcut to, because rebuilding trust is the journey. And there is no substitute for that
Trust is a trait one should obtain for the people they know are the most honest. To trust someone means to put ones full confidence and reliability on an acquaintance such as someone one is close with. In The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, Brutus, one of the leading characters put his complete trust in the people trying to tell him what he should believe. Brutus joined the conspirators to help take down Julius Caesar because he believed it was what was good for Rome based on what he was deceived. This resulted in the killing of Caesar and the death of himself and others. Not considering the right kind of trust in someone can lead to very troubling things. Cassius told a lie as if it was a truth so Brutus

Trust within family members is one of the strongest forms of trust in the world. This is because people will tend to trust other people that they have known for a long time, which are family members. However if this trust is broken, it could be a huge disaster. If someone breaks trust with a friend or acquaintance, it will suffer some consequences.
Trust is defined as the reliance on the integrity, strength, ability or surety of a person or thing. To break ones trust is to lose their confidence in the person or thing. Trust can be broken with a single, unreliable action and is often challenging and difficult to win back. In the case of the one whose trust was broken, it is a difficult, jarring and abrupt change of reality to discover the betrayal and loss of trust in someone who they once relied upon . In William Shakespeare 's play entitled Hamlet, the protagonist Hamlet is unable to take swift revenge on his father 's murderer. This is due to the fact that Hamlet has become distrustful of the most important people in his life and so this sparks a question in those around him but also
There are many ways that one can commit a betrayal of trust. A person betrays another’s trust by lying to them, tricking them, or trying to use them for their own personal gain. Another betrayal of trust is that of neglect and abuse. The one abusing the other is betraying the trust they had placed in them. All of these is betrayal, for
Trust is “a psychological state comprising the intention to accept vulnerability based upon positive expectations of the intentions or behavior of another “(Rousseau, 1998).
There are many different theorists with several different ideas. I have chosen to focus on Erikson’s theory of Trust vs . Mistrust. I have to strongly agree with his ideas because I believe that experiences that a person might go through as an infant can have a huge impact on their life. I must say that I chose to take in serious consideration his beliefs as I am raising my daughter.
Trust is a very import element in life. A trustful person is reliable, can keep secrets and is always there when needed. Unfortunately, many people use a person's trust to their own advantage, using it to manipulate a situation or person. Betrayal is the breaking of trust. Trust versus Mistrust is the first stage in Erikson’s theory of psychosocial development. This stage begins at birth and lasts through one year’s old. How does this theory work when it comes to the forming of trust and mistrust? Does it take one time to form a mistrust between child and parent? Does a child trusts its parents the first time the parent comes when the child cries, is it an automatic trust? Trust and mistrust the foundation of how the relationship between parent or guardian with child or a child with a person of authority also seen as a caregiver.

Everyone has their differences, but through communication those differences become irrelevant. Once you have a strong bond with someone, trust will follow; communication is key to forming a bond. For example, my friend Taylor has been my best friend for fourteen years. She knows all of my secrets
But I still felt very bad even after I was forgiven, one thing I learned that day was that it is very hard to regain someone’s trust and you have to start from the all the way from the beginning. And the third kind of trust is in a lover, this person knows everything about us, we tell them everything on our mind, we believe in them, we care for them and when you feel that you truly love them with all your heart that’s when you
Though that would be entertaining to watch it really wouldn’t do us any good. Without trust, our worlds would only grow more and more lonely as time passed; however, the idea that trust is this amazing life giver and nothing could go wrong is just short of a fairy tale. We as humans don’t have the power to control others actions and opinions. It is a part of human nature to make mistakes. To trust someone with no doubt in your mind would be illogical, you’re basically setting yourself up for disappointment.
