In both parties in the 2016 presidential campaigns there have been issues that have arisen however the analysis of both of their foundation can provide more knowledge to their core values. Therefore an analysis of the Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts, Inc and Subsidiaries’ (THCR) Code of Ethics can be viewed as further source of information to the principles that are being emphasized. The analysis of his of the code of ethics can be reflective of the culture that has been established within the company. The only code of ethics that is easily accessible to the public of the THCR is the one regarding Principal executive, executive officers and senior financial officers. The structure of the code and the tone is validating to the importance of the company, as the use of The Company is over the top. In nearly every sentence the phrase makes an appearance. The verbiage used is extremely formal with phrases such as the fulfillment of their respective responsibility; the phrasing provides a business mindset while reading the code and the seriousness at which the consequences potential misconduct of the code could result in. The code continues in the serious manner until the subsequent end when a loophole is placed in parenthesis as it is explaining the process of punishment to transgression and it places after opportunity to be heard to the process. . The strong language is pretty consistent until the end when it discusses the punishment against an infraction of any kind. The code states “dismissal of the offender (after opportunity to be heard)”, which shows a sense of dismay for the infraction against the code, as the infraction could be considered nothing. The issue there is that the company has no identity onto which an ethical behavior can be placed on. The culture therefore is not one of a do it right behavior but rather of a do well financially. The main objectives of the code and indirectly the company is to do things fast, as the CVT suggests. The two linear projections are focused and external, which distances the control for the internal guidance, suggested by the social removal. The argument for the lack of guidance in social interactions could be due to the status of the employees addressed, as they are not interacting as much in an interpersonal workspace. The messaging in both the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA) and Canada’s Health Informatics Association (COACH) Code of Ethics are very similar. They both discuss prioritizing privacy and security, set an expectation of maintaining a professional and collegial work ethic, encourage the continuing of education and building of one's knowledge base and both refer to a focus on the awareness of future developments/advancements within the industry. My initial preference was the CHIMA Code of Ethics as I preferred the phrasing and third person approach, however, upon further review I noticed that CHIMA’s used the word ‘strive’ instead of COACH’s approach of ‘I will’. This to me seems to have less impact then the COACH counterpart.

Ladd argues that attempts to make professional codes of ethics are confused about the nature of ethics (Ladd, pg 130). I will be arguing that Ladd’s thesis is not true and that the supporting arguments for his claim do not hold up. To do so, I will first be stating and explaining Ladd’s arguments for his thesis. Next, I will show why these arguments do not hold up using reasoning and counterexamples. Lastly, I will consider possible responses to my arguments from Ladd and disprove those as well.
I certainly agree to the author and McNerney that the unethical dysfunctional company norm is the root cause of the ethical issue. It is this norm created by the predecessors who never set good ethical examples that influences the employees. I have chosen the business profession topic of higher education administration. I am extremely familiar with this profession; as it is the job that I currently hold. It is immensely obvious that this job would keep anyone busy. This alone is one of the reasons I love this profession so much. Each day brings something new, and important group of items to accomplish. Anyone who holds this job, would go into work everyday knowing that the tasks that they are about to perform, will create a difference to not only to the departments and its students, but will also make a difference within the entire college. This person alone has the responsibility of making ethical decisions every single day as well as watching out for others who may need help being pointed in the proper ethical direction based on their knowledge of the school’s ethics plans that have been put in place.
