As there are many people who may classify this kind of photography as more of a hobby rather than an “actual” career. Of course today when we say newspaper or magazine, we don’t really mean like a glossy front page paper magazine. Many of the big magazines and newspapers have more of an online presence. The fun part about working for a travel magazine, or a newspaper is that you will have a lot of fun experiences from only doing your job. The down fall to working for a magazine or a newspaper is that you will end up with a lot less of a salary then you may have if you work with one of the other options. One part of Travel Photography is knowing where to travel. The Forbes magazine has a list of the best places to Travel for a Travel Photography career. The first place on their list is Norway. They chose this because it has a very low population number, considering how much of Norway there is. Norway has beautiful glaciers, mountains, even old architecture, as well as the northern lights. The next place is Dubai. Forbes explains that many of the stereotypical shots coming from Dubai are famous places in history, but it’s called history for a reason. Dubai has built itself a rich reputation in new cities and buildings. The people in Dubai have built themselves an environment from the ground up. It’ s beautiful, and will make excellent
Some would say Venice. Some might plump for the Taj Mahal. But there are many who have travelled the world, seen the sights and still believe the prettiest building on Earth is Salisbury Cathedral. The Salisbury Cathedral has inspired many people all around the world. It has beautiful statues and paintings in and on the outside of the cathedral. It has survived for hundreds of years through wars, plagues, and under different rulers. Not everyone thinks this building is a piece of art, but to me it is one of the greatest building ever built. The architects and the men building it over came many hardships and triumphed and ended up making a part of history that will last for another seven years and hopefully more.
When people are asked why the travel the general answer is to experience a life different from their own. An escape from a person's normal life and to experience anew. So why when people travel do they live a more lavish life but one that is completely obtainable in their hometown. They don't experience anything different, they don't open themselves up to world and be in a new culture. Although some people share a different reason of traveling. To travel to learn and understand other cultures, to learn about themselves and what they are doing in this world. So how true is this, that when traveling to other cultures and regions it allows the traveller to experience new cultures, expand your knowledge, and learn about yourself.

Travel writers or adventurers all write pieces that deal with the same premise: the discovery and experience of the New World. However, in their writing, it is evident that there is an ulterior motive in mind. These motives or purposes can be classified in two broad categories: to persuade people to come to the new world and to warn people of the dangers they may encounter in the new world. It is easy to explore these themes by paying particular attention a couple of notorious writers: Christopher Columbus, Bartolome De Las Casas, and John Smith.

Photojournalism, known as the practice of capturing moments or events to narrate a story. Sometimes it’s a story within a story. It is variously defined as visual telling through pictorial representation. “Photojournalism has as its underpinning a desire to portray accurately a visual scene which people around the world can relate to, respond to, and believe. Believability is the backbone of news imagery” (Harris, 2001). Walter Lippman mentioned in his renowned work, Public Opinion that the things about which people get to know, most of them are not derived from personal experience or direct interaction but through second hand sources most prominently, photojournalism.
Have you ever had the feeling that you just want to get away from where you are or a situation you are in? When people start to feel this way they often decide to go on a vacation. Then they face a decision, “Where do I want to go?” There are many factors that may contribute to this decision, such as the amount of time that can be taken away from work or other obligations, how much money there is to spend on this trip, is this the best time, and much more. Deciding where to go is a big decision that should be given a great deal of thought and not rushed into. Two great options if someone has the time, money, and interest would be Rome or Paris. These are good options because of the great people to learn about from each city, the great places to visit, and of course the delicious food that can be found.

In times, we often see things, but we don't really capture what is beyond it. In some cases, there are people who are artistic and are prone to see what other's cannot visualize. Every individual has a talent which can be expressed and processed differently. Something you see can mean entirely divergent things to someone else;for example, some may see thing's that may seem simple, but in the eyes of an artist, it can be perceived with a whole new definition, dimension, and a potentially new discovery. As a photographer, my view of the world, can be skewed towards looking at everyday objects as potential art, but it wasn't always like that.
One unique place, the Twin Towers, is very neat. It towers above all the other buildings.
One place I would like to visit is Vancouver in British Columbia. One reason why I want to visit Vancouver is because of its appealing nature. In Vancouver, there are rainforests that are not only home to a variety of animals which we could see as we journey the rainforests, but also the tallest trees in Canada. The rainforest trees are over 1 m in diameter and more than 50 m high. But not only are there rainforests in Vancouver, there are also beaches and mountains which we could go spend our time on! Vancouver is home to mountains and many beaches since it's close to the shore of the Pacific Ocean. The mountains is something you don't want to miss when you go to Vancouver. You could hike to the mountains, and even climb the mountains. But most of all, you could just observe the beauty and nature of the mountains, rainforests and animals. The final reason why I want to visit Vancouver is because of its attractive city. Vancouver is one of the largest cities in Canada. Vancouver has lots of skyscrapers and buildings and attractions such as the Capilano Suspension Bridge and the Science world. Not only does it have large skyscrapers and neighborhoods and attractions, but like I said earlier, Vancouver is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and Mountains. You c...
In the article, “Roses underneath Paris” Murat (n.d) writes that “In matters of healing the body or the mind, vacation is a true genius!” A vacation is supposed to be an entertaining and soothing break from a daily routine. However, a poorly planned vacation can end up being a major headache. Vacations is an escape many people look forward to all year. Working adults spend days and months of hard work. As a reward, it is common for these hard working individuals to take a much needed break and be away from the demands and responsibilities of their jobs. Giving oneself plenty of time to plan can be a fun way to build up excitement for a vacation. To have a well-planned vacation, it is important to consider choosing a touristic country that offer high quality accommodations, and decent airlines.
