The rail road is not a safe place to be tresspassing on. Trains weigh thousands of pounds and can kill you easily. You should stay at least 5 feet away from a train because they usally go 3 feet out from the track. If you get stuck or if your car breaks down on the track call 911 so that oncoming trains know. You should always look and pay attention to where you are going. Don't listen to music, put down you're hood, and also don't look at your phone. Look both ways because trains can arrive or leave at any time. When the rail guard is down no traffic is allowed to go until the train has left and the guards go up. "Racing a train to the crossing is foolish. You will never have another chance if you lose." stated from " Unit 5 lesson 7" the
train moves faster than it appears to be. The tains are going around 60-70 mph and you will most likely get killed if you try to beat the train. You can get fined if a police officer sees you on the tracks or going around the rail guard. "At night, do not assume that a train is not coming just because you do not see any light. Slow down or stop and look before crossing the tracks." also stated from Unit 5, It would not be wise to risk your life because you don't think that there is a train coming. Always cheack just in case there is a train coming. Walking or driving on the tracks that you are not allowed to be on is tresspassing. There are warning devices to warn you that there are tracks or if a train is coming. Your choice of going on the tracks will not only affect you. It can affect your family, the train driver, the pedestrians on and off of the train, and the entire community. With these devices and help from the police collisons on the tracks have gone down 70 percent. Don' be foolish, listen and be aware of your soroundings by the tracks.
In the simulation today, we passed Bill 114 in the House. This bill, also known as the High Speed Rail Travel Bill, calls for the United States government to provide direct assistance to private railroad corporations to construct and maintain a high-speed rail system. Private railroad corporations and the Republicans in the House gained as a result of the passing of this policy in the House, since the federal government will provide the initial funds to private corporations to build the infrastructure that is needed to link major cities all across the United States, in the case of interstate highways and airports. The passing of this bill, although it supports big business and private corporations, could also be considered a gain for the Democratic
It’s fall everyone and Halloween is coming.I would like to tell you that fall is the best season of all.

According to The Chicago Tribune “Close to 3,000 people have been shot in Chicago so far this year.”In 2016 chicago homicide rate was at an all time high, last year there have been reported 762 people died from gun violence,”3,550 shooting incidents, and 4,331 shooting victims.”Hundreds of people have died from gun violence every year and also a portion of the murder rate is made up of innocent people that have also died from a firearm violence. Also in the united states the number of fatalities from a firearm were “33,594” according to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention.I believe we should ban the use of firearms because the number of people that die or get injured from a firearm keeps dangerously increasing each year.
Sir, you have heard of the devastation at Duck lake, and must agree with me when I plead graciously that we need to finish the Canadian Pacific Railway. It is imperative that we have a proper route to this rebellion, and if you will, a railway could be just the solution. Presently, there is little money for the completion such project, and yet another 138 kilometers of rail must be laid. I propose an agreement of such sort.
Question at Issue - How are the engineer and railroad negligent? What could have been done by the engineer and railroad company to prevent the accident? Would more training have invoked a different preventative response from the engineer? Are the current railroad safety regulations sufficient? Are there any warnings on the road before it curves towards the track? If you didn’t know the area would you clearly be able to spot a train? What if a car was stalled on the tracks? Would a train
Ever since the fall, mankind has had a voracious desire for power and influence. People witness this desire within the walls of the Capitol Building when the media exposes backroom deals. It also springs up whenever a politician uses a podium to persuade people that he makes the world work. Politicians possibly rely on persuasion because they crave the power. However, persuasion is a manipulative, unBiblical tactic of forcing others to accept a point of view by all means necessary.
The high-speed railway will cause a big damage in farm people properties or people that live in the area that the railway is
The earliest railroads in the United States were short wooden tramways connecting mines or quarries with nearby streams, which horses could draw heavier loads than on the common roads. At first the railroad faced strong opposition especially from canal backers, they were considered dangerous because flying sparks could set fires. Breaks were feeble and it was difficult to stop in the right place. To protect its investment in the Erie Canal, the carrying of freight on railroads was temporarily prohibited by New York Legislature (Kennedy 313).
BOOM! CRASH! Well, that is the sound of some crazy people who are trying to get out of their crowded cars as fast as possible and are going too fast and crashing on the interstate. When that happens I bet you think about driving along a long two lane road where people are not trying to get from one point to another as fast as possible. Well, if you do let us go and travel down the road that was America's only main highway that was used for more than 80 years called Route 66. Route 66 was and still is the road to travel on if you wanted to see extraordinary stuff.
1.Before you do anything you need to check your heart, take a few deep breaths and ask yourself why you are about to step on the field. If your answer is that the game is your life, your heart, your sole then you are ready to take the field. Do not take the field if you have any doubt in your mind that you do not love this game.
For my “How to do” speech my goal was to share with the class an interesting and informative way to learn something new. Due to the speeches time limit, I knew I needed to be well prepared. I wanted to be less nervous before and during my speech. While presenting I was nervous, but I didn’t really have time for these feelings to sink in because I was focused on the information I wanted to share with the audience. I enjoyed presenting in the second group of speeches so I could see my peers different types of speaking style. The audience seemed alert and interested in my topic which made it a little bit easier for me to speak, because there weren’t any distractions in the room from people not paying attention. I think part of that was because
Public transportation is an essential part of a city. A good public transit can encourage a city’s economic activities and can provide its citizen a convenient life. Does our Phoenix public transit work well? Does it provide sufficient service to the citizen? From my experience, the answer is no. This November I tried to attend the popular State Fair in Phoenix. However, I found that there were not any buses or metros could take me to the fair directly. It means I need 2 hours or more spend on the public transits. As the sixth most populous city nationwide (“Phoenix Quick Fact” 1), compared with Los Angeles and other big cities in America, Phoenix’s public transportation is indeed subpar. Due to Los Angeles has 154 bus lines and 30 metros (“Schedule”), New York has 316 bus lines and 28 subways(“Maps & Timetables”), while Phoenix only has 98 bus lines, and the number of metro line is only one! (“Route Schedules & Maps”) The problem is

At public crossings there are specific signs called Crossbuck signs, these signs are in the shape of an x with the black lettering “Railroad Crossing”. Sometimes there are more than one track and there will be a number located underneath the sign indicating how many tracks there are. Regardless of what indications a crossing may have it is required that you stop 15 to 50 feet from the nearest rail. It is also illegal to park closer than 50 feet to any railroad unless it is posted that it is okay to do so. To safely cross a railroad you should: always expect a train to be coming, don’t get trapped on the railroad, if you are to get stuck or your vehicle stalls get out and run toward the approaching train as debris from the collision could cause injury, watch for second trains, never drive through, around, or under barriers, never race trains, watch for stopped cars, don’t misjudge the speed and distance of the approaching train, and exercise extra caution at night. Trains can be very dangerous and they are often much faster than a driver may
