The Medicine Bag is a story about a tradition being passed on. The grandson (Martin) is receiving the Medicine Bag to be passed on to his children. At first Martin doesn’t feel comfortable to take the bag. One day grandpa said that it was time, he told Martin what to do before he passed away. My family has lots of traditions for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Halloween, New Years, and the 4th of July. Traditions are important for others and if you stop the traditions the person that started it would probably not like that.
