Mary Maloney and Tom Benecke are exclusively unique persons, however, they have some harmonious sides, Mrs. Maloney is a wife that enormously passionate with her husband, that every day she would wait for him to come home from a long day in the force. She will sit in the same place in the living room and wait to overhear the tires on the gravel outside. In the contrary, Tom is a passionate person, but not to his loved one, but nevertheless to work, because he has been putting plenty of work in a project. Day and night he has been working so vigorously, so he can get a promotion in the store he works. Benecke forgets about his wife, Clare, and his life outside of his profession. It took nearly a dead experience for Tom to apprehend that he has been wasting valuable components of his life, that he could have spent it with his wife. It initiated when he was saying goodbye to his wife because he wanted to stay in the apartment to work, instead of going to watch a movie with her that they had been waiting a whole month. When he decided not to go he shuts the door, furthermore the breeze came rushing moreover, the important paper that had all of his production; that he had been working on for the past a month an half, he observed the paper flown away from the desk and through the window.
