The key is to listen and participate. When you listen you can absorb all the things that are important for you to learn, and when you participate it shows the teacher that you understand and are engaged in the lesson. If you want to show your teacher that an assignment is important then don’t procrastinate, which means don’t wait until the last minute. It is also very important to be respectful to your teachers. To be respectful to your teachers you should not argue with them, and restrain from talking with friends at the wrong times. It is very important to not be stressed about your work load because that affects your grades and attitude
As many people have told me before, it is a very different ballgame than middle school’s easy going years. There is much more work, the classes are harder, and the environment is completely different. Many people’s grades may slip and they may cower in fear at the barrage of assignments they receive class after class. Unlike other people, I am confident in my ability to excel at all classes and to sustain exemplary grades. Therefore, while many are trembling in fear at the prodigious assignments and work is bombarding them from all angles, I will be at ease, knowing that whatever obstacle is thrown my way, I will conquer it and be its own
Four years of my life drained away at this place called Troy High School. After this year I will be walking away from Troy, worn and torn from the hours of anticipation for grades to be posted, the next weekend to arrive, the answer to whether that special someone will say yes to the next dance, or the unbearable wait for that painstaking bell to ring. Troy is a place of education, a very good one at that, with its Blue Ribbon Award and national recognition, you’d think I would be walking away with knowledge that will serve me well for decades to come, but no. I could have learned the same things I learned at Troy anywhere, it is the insight I picked up that will take me far. “What insight?” you ask. Its priceless wisdom really, it’s a shame too many people overlook it or take it for granted. You see there are some basic classes every Troy student takes, that in the long run prove to be very useful beyond their educational platforms. Take the Troy Tech classes, they offer more than just facts about 1s and 0s and codes of programming. Looking deeper into what is learned in these classes one can pick up the Zen like teachings. Bases, the fact that a ‘10’ can be any number, depending on its base, touches upon the idea how in the real world people seem to be the utmost characters of greatness but the more you get to know them, and their base, they can turn to be someone better or more often then not, something worse than what you first anticipated. In the course of programming we learn that there are several ways to solving a problem, just some are shorter than others and some easier to find the bugs, it depends on the commands you use. Such as how in life when using the right commands, or truths, will get you far, while some just tak...
Using time wisely is very important because the assignment and the teachers and your grades.Sometimes kids would want to horse play and they will never work on there stuff which makes them have a low grade and that causes them to fail that class. There are classes that have shortage of time or the teachers take to long on the same topic and never get to the project. At times there is a few people that have an attitude and that makes the class hold back because of the teacher has to talk to him or her.
In short, I feel junior year provided a foundation for the more mature and adult chapters of my life, and without the numerous obstacles of junior year, I would never have gained the key to a successful future.
1. It's nothing like high school. I know, you're glad to get out of the same classroom all day, and that part is great, but don't think junior high is like senior high. You may or may not be exposed to new situations like peer pressure, confromity and stress and identity issues. However, this is normal because you're discovering yourself, it's fine.
The key aspect of teaching is engaging the students. I can testify that I learn best when the teacher is involving me, as well as others, in the assignment. Making the material personal is a useful skill and helps the students learn at a faster rate.
I was told that this, my junior year, would be the easiest year of my high school career. And no, they were absolutely wrong. It was not just school and grades that I was concern about either. I had other things to worry about, things like, driving, clubs, friends and family. I however had no idea that it would be this difficult. Throughout this school year I have learned many things; like the value of sleep, whose really your friend, and that although very important, grades are not everything.
Keeping an updated calendar or agenda keep students aware of when an assignment is due. Students can set due dates on the calendar in their phone. If the student does not have or is not allowed to have electronics they can purchase an agenda or calendar for cheap. Some schools supply students with an agenda to make sure they keep up with due dates on major assignments and other work. If students are involved in any extracurricular activities, they should set certain times and dates on when to complete an assignment. It is important to know how to balance out of school activities with school work. Starting their work early and getting ahead is another way students can manage their time to finish the assignment. As soon as students is assigned the assignment they should get started right away. Friends and family members can also help remind one when his or her assignment is almost due, so it is completed on time. When procrastinating one do not learn to discipline themselves therefore their work suffers, and the student get stressed out. Not being able to manage your time can be stressful and can cause students to not want to fully complete their assignment. Procrastination can also cause students to get less sleep than

I’ve learned a lot about myself in these past four years, and I still have so much learning to do. This is my high school story; the good, bad, and the ugly.

To be compassionate about what their students are dealing with outside of school. Take the time to sit down with the student and talk to them, if there is an issue. Even though, the teacher and students schedules get occupied with the amount of work that needs to get done. There is still a way to reach out to a student or teacher if one of them is determined to do it can happen. Nowadays, it is easy to communicate between them both, so there should not be an excuse about not having the proper communication. Then, respect develops more between them. The teacher gives a clear act of respect toward the teacher; therefore, the student does the same for the teacher. There should not be special treatment or anything like that at all. All of these factors mentioned are descriptions of an effective teacher and good qualities that they must express while entering into the teaching profession; that is what makes a teacher
