The Verdimillious Charm is a defense spell. Its incantation is "Verdimilious", which is pronounced " vur-duh-MILL-ee-us". To cast it, say the incantation while pointing at your target with a slashing movement. Green sparks of energy will explode around the target and surround it, causing your opponent a slight pain.
Since it is not powerful enough to really hurt the target, I would only used this spell as a distraction to gain time to cast another spell, or to escape.
The Verdimillious charm can also be used as a way to light up a room by making a circular motion above your head with your wand. Be careful not to aim at anything else but the air, because the sparks could target it like if you were using it for defense. If cast correctly,

“A nice warm shower, a cup of tea, and a caring ear may be all you need to warm your heart”. Charles Glassman’s quote was exemplified beautifully in the poem “Common Magic” by Bronwen Wallace. The piece took readers through a series of everyday events, explaining how each seemingly meaningless moment contained it’s own kind of magic. Through the use of oxymoron, imagery and characters, Wallace developed the theme that simple pleasures are fleeting and a fulfilled life involves t`21aking time to appreciate everything.

The Summoner was enraged by the tale that the Friar told. He claims in response to the Friar that friars and fiends are one and the same. He tells that a friar once was brought to hell by an angel and remarked that he saw no friars there. However, Satan lifted his tail and thousands of friars came out from his ass and swarmed around hell.

This is a paper written about my impression of “The Truth About Witchcraft Today” by Scott Cunningham. To explain my commentaries I have to state a something about myself that you don’t really care to know. I have been introduced to Wicca before, know many wiccans and sometimes considerer myself a wiccan. But after reading this the most I could call myself would be “Non-practicing Wiccan” I hold wiccan beliefs to my heart but have never tried to perform an act of magic, nor do I hold the sabbats and esbats special. I didn’t even know what esbats were until reading this book, and I thought there was only 4 sabbats, the ones in line with the equinox and the solstices. Having taken that out perhaps some of my biases and opinions are not that blatant or unreasonable.
Many witches do not believe in spirits, and most if not all reject belief in a literal Devil or demons. Naturally, therefore, they reject the idea that sorcery and divination are accomplished by the agency of evil spirits. Many offer naturalistic explanations for the working of magic and divination and other "psychic technologies." On the whole, the occult community today has expanded its definition of "the natural" to incorporate elements that were earlier considered supernatural, placing them in the category of the super- or paranormal instead. Yet, they are still involved in the "old ways" -- that is, the occult.
Historically it was used for many aliments ranging from wild animal bites, liver and gall bladder detoxify, spleen congestion, to smallpox, plague and bruising. During the American civil war calendula petals were applied directly onto open wounds in the battlefields and in the dressing of wounds as an anti hemorrhagic and antiseptic to promote healing. King Midas and the Golden Touch, is one of the most famous myths in western lore. It details the story of one man’s greed and lust for wealth leading to his ultimate downfall. Initially written by Ovid, in his Metamorphoses published in 8 A.D, it has been adapted and analyzed even in modern times. Written in Dactylic Hexameter, as customary of great mythological works of the time period, the poem effectively served as a part of a guide to life for the ancient Romans. The morals the story teaches are still applicable in this day and age. As the story is intertwined with the rest of the epic, it is important to evaluate the myth in an educated and modified light. In King Midas and the Golden Touch, Ovid deftly illustrates the importance of restraint by detailing King Midas’ suffering from his greed.
Candle magick can be found through their history. From the time when human beings realized fire, they were in astonishment of its power. They wanted to utilize that power. We carry on this early custom when we practice candle magick.
What is true is not mention, but what is a lie is acceptable. This view is exercise by tribal communities, such as those of the Azande, in order to maintain the stability for its people. The Zande people have turn toward witchcrafts and oracles to reach an answer in a dispute. The oracles never lie.
Sorcery in the Fore society provoked the social inequalities within their community. The Fore people are people who live on the eastern highlands of Papua New Guinea and they are well known for being victims of a fatal, worsening neurological disease, called kuru. Kuru usually affected women and children, but we are not sure what caused this fatal disease, most likely it is cannibalism however researchers are still not certain. Fore religion involves beliefs concerning nature, human nature, and the spiritual realm. They also educate themselves on the importance for the acceptable human existence emphasizing the themes of fertility, strength, cooperation, and loyalty that are expressed in myths and ritual activities. The Fore people do not have
The candle or lamp being lit represents a source of wisdom and the dispeller of evil. It also represents the light that exists within the devotee that they are offering to the deity. The process of circling the lamp around represents the continuous cycle of life and rebirth, which is the pinnacle of the Hindu belief system. The ringing of the bell throughout the puja is used because of the similarity to the Aum which is chanted by the Hindus as this noise does away with all negatives in the atmosphere allowing the devotee to leave the profane world (Viswanathan, n.d.).
All throughout American history there have been numerous dark spots that have plagued us and our land. We’ve faced bombings, wars, terrorism and persecution of innocents. Most people can confirm that one of the original dark spots would have to be the witch trials of our past. Now we see these people who were slaughtered as innocents who were in the wrong place at the wrong time. But what is witchcraft. Is like Harry Potter with short incantations, potions and flying broomsticks, or is it demon worship with sacrifices and a goat's blood. For many people they believe it is make believe and just part of another story, with no structure or rules upon themselves. But sadly life itself isn’t a story and in real life witchcraft follows rules.
