Acknowledging the importance of non-profit organizations in my life is easily done because of the unforgettable experiences had at a local organization and the impression it left on my life. As by taking part in a local non-profit organization, my mother and I were able to embark on a medical mission trip to Romania in 2006 and 2007. We set out to simply love and grow into a culture of people we knew nothing of, but yet still being drawn together by an awesome God and His mission for us as a people. Devoting our time and love, we also aided many in need with medical necessities: taking their blood pressure, addressing any problems they may have, and relinquishing all medicines that may be needed. Through my experiences, I’ve found that many non-profit organizations work to assist a multitude of hurting individuals through various methods of relief and invoke the initiation of volunteers into action. Although countless individuals have faced negative issues while being a part of such an organization, it is to be said that none can truly fathom the value of a non-profit organization that upholds dedication to the people it may serve, by way of various methods that provide great relief.

I'd like to talk to you today about one of the most important issues that touches our lives and shapes our future: the education of America's children. We've always had a love affair with learning in this country. America is a melting pot, and education has been a mainspring for our democracy and freedom, a means of providing gifts of knowledge and opportunity to all citizens, no matter how humble their background, so they could climb higher, help build the American dream, and leave a better life for those who follow.”
While nonprofits have such limited reach as it is , it is important for companies and nonprofit organizations to engage in a more responsive way to successfully alleviate hunger in a certain city or better cloth homeless youth.
Throughout this course my paradigms of what a nonprofit organization have been challenged as we have considered the major aspects and leadership challenges of these organizations. Having worked with for profit and nonprofit organizations in the past I was quite confident that I had a clear understanding of the distinctions between the two. I had worked in organizations that regularly used volunteers to accomplish their mission and felt that the management of these processes were simplistic. Despite these misconceptions, I found that I was able to learn a tremendous amount through our reading, peer interactions, group projects and equally important, my volunteer service as part of this course.
Education is a social problem that is very prominent in the world today. Education affects not only children currently attending school, but what they do when they are older. It affects where someone may end up later in their life, what job they will have, and how much money they will be making. Unfortunately, not everyone graduates high school, goes to college, and earns a high paying job. The cards some people are dealt can be much different, and education today arises as a social problem because of income, family life, and the area someone lives. These three areas can really help someone in their education, but it can also set them back.
Within the business world the talk about nonprofits and there make up and also their effectiveness is always a great topic in which many speak on. We can take time and review if a nonprofit is small, large or even medium however when you think of a nonprofit you think about organization that help our communities. Having these missions creates issues within nonprofits because they are not organizations that are geared for profit gain. The major issues confronting nonprofits are finances and organizational structure.

Education is a vital part of society. It serves the beneficial purpose of educating our children and getting them ready to be productive adults in today's society. But, the social institution of education is not without its problems. Continual efforts to modify and improve the system need to be made, if we are to reap the highest benefits that education has to offer to our children and our society as a whole.
The ability of helping people has always fascinated me. The issues of providing goods and services to our people of our nation and the policies in which affects our non-profit organizations and how they operate are of my interests. The task I chose to take on is more than humanitarian: providing necessary services for the public as well as education and training, building strong communities, and increasing individuals’ capacity. The values of public goods are shar...
In every school around this country hanging on the walls are posters of great inspiration. They express the significance of what hard work, courage, determination, potential, and rising above and beyond can give a person who has a good education behind them. History books tell of a not so long ago point in time when America had an economy focused on physical labor that produced goods and then turned into a knowledge-centered one geared toward offering services. Looking at American now, one would never be able to guess that for a while education was important. Times changed and it was found that advanced knowledge and creativity was a thing to aspire too. Women fought hard just to be able to have the right to an education. “American politicians and pundits have regularly stressed that education holds the key to the country's future. Everyone seems to agree that good schools are prerequisites for broad economic prosperity, individual social mobility, and a healthy civil society in which informed voters engage in the public issues of the day.” (Mehta)
