In today’s world even with the economy suffering and individual income declining, the food industry is still up and running. Chain restaurants, mom and pop establishments, and fast food restaurants that are learning to market their products cheaper and more reasonable to the consumer are still going strong in the United States. They are offering healthier meals due to the consumer wanting to become healthier. They have their ups and downs like any business but are learning to give the consumer what they need and desire. ...re than one government’s protection. The state governments protect their own states while the federal government protects the whole country.
An example of this would be that the federal government has control over the military, foreign policy, our postal system and the monetary policies. The state government has the responsibility for the police/law enforcement, road building and the schools.

The U.S government works under princible called federalisim. Citizens regualte by two separate governments, federal and state. The federal government has limited power over all fifty states. State has power over their state, and no state can not make laws that conflict with federal laws. Federalisim is a system that allows two or more governments to share control over the same geographic region. The power is divided. The difference between federal and state governments power, the powers granted to the U.S. government are to collect taxes, pay debts, provide for the common defense and welfare of the U.S. The Federal Government can even boworrow money, regualte commerce within forgien nations and states. The power of the federal government
Then there is the state government which are responsible for governing affairs within their borders, and carrying out federal laws and programs at the state level. They are governed by their own constitutions and retain any rights that the U.S. Constitution does not exclusively grant to the federal government. The state government is limited as they cannot form alliances with other states and must honor and respect the laws and institutions of the other states. And finally there is the federal government which is the central and highest level of government in the U.S. It is divided into three branches and each branch has its own rights and power to check and balance the powers of each branch. The federal government has the power to regulate taxes, establish federal welfare programs and make laws in the interest of the nation as a whole. There are also limitations set to the federal government’s authority, as they cannot ask local law enforcements agencies to do minor administrative jobs. Although all levels of government have their own responsibilities there are limits to interfering with other governments
Focusing on the well being of the customers should be the main focus of any major company, especially fast food companies. By reducing the amount of unhealthy choices for children and replacing them with nutritional foods, the nation’s youth will benefit.
On the other hand in a federal system the central authority has broad powers on matters that concern the nation. For example in the USA the central authority controls foreign affairs and defense policy

Value meals vs. Regular menu We are all a part of highly evolved society where food is now apart of everything. Food & restaurants are involved in everything in our lives in any case. It is all about the problems with scarcity and the way we allocate the resources and the way we utilize things in order to optimize the returns. The aim is profit maximization and cost minimization. The customer is probably the most complicated piece of the puzzle in the world of restaurants and fast foods. They want preferential treatment and when they do not get the human element in the deal they simply walk out. But the reaction of the customer depends on the type and the nature of the product itself. As times are changing, people are work day and night to earn a decent living, and when they spent money they want the objects bought worth the cost. Value meal from a consumer’s perspective is very important, the reason being he is spending little money for a lot of stuff. It is human nature to be greedy, and if person is getting a Value meal that has several items in it for just $5 then why in the world would he ever want to spend $5 on a regular menu that just serves burgers and fries. Although this may sound as a joke but if America built lots of McDonalds and Burger Kings in enemy territories it would eradicate the need for atomic bombs, the reason; the obese population would soon self destruct. However the only problem is that America itself is becoming her own enemy with obesity reaching epidemic proportions. According to a recent observation, more and more Americans are becoming super sized with around 60% of them are adults, 14% of them are teens while the rest 13% are 6- to 11-year olds. This obesity that is growing is the real reason why...
As many people are trying to put the blame of obesity on restaurants, others, like myself, have a strong opinion that the restaurants have nothing to do with obesity and the customer has the right to order what they would like. Some supporters believe that government should take action to...
Customers buy when they feel it is necessary giving them the upper hand on the industry. Bargaining power of suppliers: In the quick- service restaurant, the suppliers vary. They really do not rely distributors as large restaurants do. Threat of new substitutes: The restaurant industry is segmented into many parts: full service restaurants ($120 billion); quick- service restaurants ($110 billion); away-from-home managed institutions, examples: food services for schools and hospitals ($21 billion); and other food industries ($106 billion). (Marshall Jones, 1999). Rivalry among competi...
It is no secret that the America’s love for fast food is constantly growing. In fact a survey report shows that there are over 50,000 fast food chains in the country, with McDonalds; established in 1902, ranking as the largest one of these restaurant chains (Dipietro, Roseman, & Ashley, 2006). As of 2013, official reports from McDonalds indicate that there are over 34,000 system-wide restaurants under its wing (Dipietro et al., 2006). On the contrary, Chic-fil-A, is a smaller fast food chain that was established in the year 1967 from its mother restaurant the Dwarf Grill. As of 2013, there are over 1700 Chic-fil-A restaurants in more than 39 states with a gross revenue in sales around $4.6 billion (Redman & Sankar, 2013). Over the years, businesses

The main problem that McDonald’s faced was the fact that the food it served was mostly unhealthy. With the change in consumer mindset, people started looking for healthy alternatives and government imposed regulations on unhealthy foods. To deal with this the company should introduce healthier items in the menu while maintaining its USP of stellar service, low prices and low waiting times. This will help the company in retaining its customers and dealing with the change.
Another point of reason I would like to argue about is fast-food restaurants are everywhere and it is difficult for one to find any alternatives. I would also like to ask of the consumers to look at it from another view. There are many choices available to consumers each day some can do harm, while othe...
