Of the most and best character, is that of Jesus, the Christ. Jesus’s character spans through both the Old and New Testaments. In the Song of Solomon, he calls Him altogether lovely (Sol. 5:16), whereas Isaiah 11:5 and Heb. 1:9, credits Him as righteous. He is considered just (Zec. 9:9; Joh. 5:30; Acts 22:14). He is a merciful Christ (Heb. 2:27), which allows us to repent of our sins. There will be two locations or venues that will be used. One is the church, and the other is an off location other than the church. The participants will have to have a parental consent signed to join in the study. This will give two different trials of young males who have a church influence and how their character is affected from constant teaching from the church, and how character is assessed from young males who are not influenced from the church. This will begin with a survey to find out what they know about character, have they ever paid attention their behavior associated with their character, who do they believe shaped their character? The survey or assessment will be given at intervals throughout the study. During the study, parents will be kept informed of the progress of their child. Christian parents pray for their children to follow Christ. They pray that their children’s sins be forgiven. Hansen shares, “They pray for God to have mercy on their children. They pray for their children’s character development.” All parents want to know if their child is progressing with their behavior.
