As an ESFP you are an extraverted, sensing, feeling, and perceiving person. You tend to play a lot of situations by your gut feeling then thinking the situation out. An ESFP does not like being crossed. They may hold grudges on a lot of situation after being crossed. An ESFP is very social and like to be around people. They tend to be the peacemakers in a lot of situations. The ESFP likes to be the center of the universe. The ESFP would like life to be a continual party.
ESFP’s love people they tend to always be out and starting conversations with people. People love to be around an ESFP. ESFP’s accept people with open arms. They always see the good and see everyone as a friend but they are very hard on people once crossed.
An ESFP starts to have negative thoughts and negative outcomes when they are under a great deal of stress. Negative outcomes do not sit well with a ESFP. They always like to stay positive and always see the good in people or any situation they are involved in. Most ESFP’s tend to rely on their immediate sensation. They decide to stay away from thinking about the long term consequences of their own actions.
ESFP’s are very practical but they don’t like routine. They are a “go with the flow” kind of people. They don’t argue with what is going on at the point. They adapt to the situation. They are very good “hands on learners”. They do not learn well from studying a book. The ESFP likes to hear facts and not theories. ESFP’s may have difficulty in school because they do not like situations where theory is involved such as math.
ESFP’s are good team players they tend to be very likeable by their teammates and coaches. They try to create the most fun environment possible for getting it done. ESFP’s are best in caree...

...pt the change and become lost in it or you can accept the change and move on. I relate myself to Haw the most out of the four characters. He showed that you can overcome anything if you just accept what had happened. It was very hard for him to do that because he was just like Hem at first thinking the cheese had been stolen but it really never did get stolen. The cheese had run out over time and they just didn’t want to accept it at first. I know I have done this before when it came to moving as a military child. I always bring up the past because I wish I had lived somewhere else or I wish I had so and so friend still here. An ESFP is very much like Haw they think negative for a very long time but they eventually are able to look past it and move on. Haw thought positive afterwards. Just like an ESFP did and he eventually found his cheese and moved on to be happy.
People change everyday, whether it is from good to bad or for the better. People often say to themselves, maybe, if I didn't do “blank” this wouldn't have happened. However, the reality is, it happened, and there is no way to change that. Why go around throwing maybe’s around if you cannot change it? Authors purposefully make readers ask those questions. Authors love to create complex characters, characters that go through change. In Ellen Hopkins’ book, Crank, is the perfect example. Ellen Hopkins writes from her own daughter's perspective, Kristina, on how “the monster” changed her own life and her family's life.
Reviews from Tickell (2011); the independent chair of the EYFS review, supported and criticised the curriculum which was brought in by the government. Stating mistakes and suggesting improvements which needed to be made. As recommended by Tickell a new reformed EYFS was introduced in 2012 updating and making EYFS exceptional. This reform strengthened the curriculum by outlining and changing the problems which became difficult for early years practitioners. The reform adapted by reducing paperwork, strengthening parents and practitioners relationships, simplifying assessments, and providing early intervention where necessary. Critiquing the 2008 version of EYFS, it is clear that Tickell states positive aspects of the curriculum towards the impact on children in an early years setting. Some
In life, things will change and you might have harsh or nice reactions to them. It might not be obvious, but everything is slowly changing. You also might need to push through some changes. In the short story, “Last Kiss” by Ralph Fletcher, the character experiences horrific change: his father and him are drifting away. He needs to push through this change. The story teaches that things will change even if you don’t want them to. The text teaches this in the beginning, in the middle, and most of all in the end.
The strengths of the EMDR therapy are that it uses elements of cognitive behavior and psychodynamic to treat clients. (1).EMDR therapy has eight phases of the treatment approach, they are; in phase one is the development of the treatment plan and getting the history from the client. In the second phase of the treatment is to teach the client coping skills needed to deal with stress in a positive manner. In phases three, four, and five the focus is on the therapist assisting the client into finding positive belief to replace negative ones. In the seventh phase the clients keeps a journal for the week. In that journal the client writes down anything that may trigger any negative ima...
Several times in her essay she tells of how different she feels after she is shot in the eye but time after time she is told “You did not change” (37). This is a big deal to Walker because she knows for a fact that she is not the same little girl that she used to be and she is “eight, and for the first time, doing poorly in school, where [she has] been something of a whiz since [she] was four” (36). It is like her life has been completely turned upside down and nothing it going the way that it should be. Repeating the line “You did not change” over and over in Walker’s story shows how much this line meant to her growing up and how much it still means to her now. In the same manner that this line effects Alice, it now has a similar effect on her
To understand positive psychology and trauma, one must first understand what each term means. First, positive psychology is the study and focus on the best in human behavior. It is a fairly new perspective being observed and used by psychologists from all over the world. The goal of positive psychology is to study and promote conditions that can help people to achieve happy, healthy, and productive lifestyles. It is derived from research and theories from many areas of psychology and tying them together while focusing on the positive aspects of human behavior. What does it mean to be positive? Being positive is displaying affirmation, acceptance, or certainty toward an object, idea, or person.
The ability to be self-aware, identify specific personality traits, and assess personal strengths and weaknesses are powerful tools for lifelong personal and professional success. One of the most popular and trusted personality assessment tools utilized today is the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (CPP, 2016). According to Meyers-Briggs Personality test my personality type is ESFJ also known as “The Caregiver.” An ESFJ is one of 13 personality types identified through the Myers-Briggs assessment tool (HumanmetricsInc, 2016). This assignment will identify the different aspects of my personality and how they work together. It will also evaluate strengths, weaknesses and organizational behaviors in an effort to maximize professional performance.
Extraversion is marked by pronounced engagement with the external world. Extraverts enjoy eing with people, are full of energy, and often experience positive emotions. They tend to be enthusiastic, action-oriented, individuals who are likely to say "Yes!" or "Let's go!" to opportunities for excitement. In groups they like to talk, assert themselves, and draw attention to themselves. (Beaumont 2003)
Extraverts have an energy that is outwards towards people and things (Changing Minds, 2002-2011). They get their motivation from others, need a lot of stimulation, and express their motions (Changing Minds, 2002-2011). Rather than thinking of changing the world they want to change it (Changing Minds, 2002-2011). They have an attitude that is often relaxed and confident and they are understandable and accessible (Changing Minds, 2002-2011). Before thinking they act and like to communicate openly (Changing Minds, 2002-2011). They show energy and enthusiasm (Changing Minds, 2002-2011). They are often seen as shallow and pushy by introverts (Changing Minds, 2002-2011). After reading the first scenario of Joh...
I have a preference of Extraversion over Introversion (19%) which means I direct my energy to the outside world. This would be correct because I am the type of person that will do anything for anyone else first before myself. I am a paramedic and I love helping people even it takes me away from my family at times, I can’t sit back and not help people in need (Humanmetrics, 2016).
Abstract: This paper observes a particular personality trait. The ESTJ personality trait is the acronym for Extraverted, Sensing, Thinking, and Judging. The paper will highlight the characteristics of ESTJ and will breakdown each letter of this acronym. This paper will highlight the strengths and weaknesses of ESTJ and observe and examine the applications of work and ESTJ in a personal example.
The discussion below is about the personality type ESTJ which is extraversion, sensing, thinking, and judging. The most basic description of this type is that they are an outgoing realist who deals with factual data to make decisions. This type is not always understanding of other types who are different and is also not shy about letting people know their thoughts on any particular subject. This personality type is found throughout many organizations in leadership roles. In my particular profession the United States Navy we are largely this type. Having multiple ESTJ’s in an organization makes for an interesting discussion. Over the past few years the level of ESTJ has decreased for me personally which has been beneficial to workplace cohesion.
ENFP also known as the campaigner is my personality type (16 personalities). I never realized what my personality type was until after finally doing this paper. It was a very eye opening assignment and made me realize and understand my personality type so much more. It’s exciting to know how I work. It amazes me at how I represent the ENFP exactly how it’s described, it’s crazy. I feel like I can better myself now, knowing that that’s just normal or my personality type. Before I would question myself on why I could never focus on just one task at a time, I would always want to explore more before I was finished. Now that I know that’s normal, I can work on improving myself. The campaigner represents a true free spirit.
My personality type is Extroverted, intuitive, feeling, perceptive or ENFP. According to the description in the exercise, ENFP's are warm, enthusiastic and live their outer life more with intuition and their inner more with feeling. This assessment is consistent with the results that I received in part I of the exercise. I am an extroverted person who enjoys being around and working with people.
The test has shown that my personality can be defined as ENFJ type. People who belong to this group are good leaders, organizers and idealists. They are good at communicating with other people, finding common language with others, initiating different projects and organizing the working processes. People of ENFJ personality type possess such traits as responsibility, creativity, openness to the world, self-development and sympathy. Such people are always ready to help others and use their experience for the sake of general well-being and success. It is also said that an ENFJ-type person can easily establish relationships with other individuals and believe in the potential of others.
