The Parable of the Wicked Tenants and enhances Godly characteristics. This parable explains what happens when one is denied over and over again. There is story to this parable, Sin is something that everyone does, but why does one choose to do it over and over again. A man created the vineyard and once it was established he sent people into his tenants so that he could obtain some of the fruit from the vineyard. The vineyard is the Kingdom of God, the landowner is God, the Tenants are Jewish religious leaders, the servants are prophets, and the son is Jesus Christ. It is a way of life that is hard to avoid. Especially in today’s generation, for example in the parable it says that, “And he sent yet a third” (Luke 20:12). As I said before, the man sent his son and the tenants thought by killing him they would receive inheritance. This is the actions of the devil taking place in the tenants because God would never prohibit these types of actions. No matter what you should always be last when it comes to making decisions, God is always first. To send a third into the vineyard and to get denied again shows a lack of respect. To repeatedly do the same thing over and over again is a form of idolatry because you think that your decisions are greater than God’s decisions. God sent his son for a reason and that reason was for all to be delivered from sin. God is known as the owner of the vineyard who sent his son Jesus Christ as the last man; he was crucified and made the world full of forgiveness and second chances. Grace is Jesus and Jesus is grace.
