1 Project 1:
1.a RFC 4707: The Netnews Administration System:
The Netnews Administration System is a platform which has been made for ease for administration and utilization of Netnews via online. Further the newsgroups data kept in the centralization boundary database in an environment of client-server protocol to be distributed. Moreover, the data can be accessed by news servers, news administrators, and the readers. However, three of them have different access, such as the server can perform configuration automatically, on the other hand Administrator can only obtain data manually. Furthermore, news reader program has designed to obtain specific information through NAS server, in addition, it gives deep information to the user about groupings and hierarchies. And NAS can also be used to control messages and undesirable interference. (P. Grau, 2006).
1.b RFC 1436: Gopher Protocol:
The internet Gopher Protocol is made for dispensed document search and accessing information in the memory. And this protocol adopt the client-server model. Further this protocol always assumed the TCP and one port has assigned for server to it by INNA which is 70. Users have to install and run the client software on their system to connect with sever and in it the client software display users hierarchy of items and directories as file system. And user can browse documents into the centralized data. On the other hand, server response with the directory list or documents, and every file in the directory contain unique identification, for instance, users name, pathname, and IP port number. (F. Anklesaria, 1993).
