“The Matrix” (1999) is a Sci-Fi action film created by the “Wachowski Brothers” to present life in an absent
minded dream world based on our solar system and a so-called real world which set on a planet known as
‘Zion’. Artificial Intelligence is the use of computer system(s) to imitate tasks which human beings undertake.
“The Matrix” (1999) depicts Artificial Intelligence in a unique sort of way; representing it in a flexible manner,
showing what it can do to society. Generally speaking; this essay will show how the use of warning to
intimidate someone to get what you want, the conflicts between human and machine and the way to act upon
to get the results you want is all presented by Artificial Intelligence in ‘The Matrix’.

The audience of the film believes that Agent Smith is the main antagonist in the story and is
Artificial Intelligence since he is created so he makes human like decision. In addition, ‘The Matrix’ presents
Agent Smith making ‘threatening’ remarks to Morpheus; trying to force him into giving the Agent access codes
to Planet Zion. Pursuant to fulfilling this action by giving Morpheus his interpretation of the definition of reality
when it comes to mankind. Agent Smith quotes “I believe that, as a species, human beings define their reality
through suffering and misery”. The viewers believe that Agent Smith to be “Artificial Intelligence” presenting
his interpretation of reality, thus making an intimidating remark to get the access codes.
A conflict is an argument or struggle between two people, groups or cults; in addition, the film presents
Artificial Intelligence and humans having conflicts. ‘The Matrix’ presents fervent were ‘The Team’ and ‘The

The Matrix is the war between man and machine, and the possibility that reality is a deception. In a sense, the Matrix is a constant struggle of identity and reality. This struggle of identity and reality is based around the character of Thomas Anderson, an ordinary person living a mundane life.
Artificial Intelligence is a term not too widely used in today’s society. With today’s technology we haven’t found a way to enable someone to leave their physical body and let their mind survive within a computer. Could it be possible? Maybe someday, but for now it’s just in theory. The novel by William Gibson, Neuromancer, has touched greatly on the idea of artificial intelligence. He describes it as a world where many things are possible. By simply logging on the computer, it opens up a world we could never comprehend. The possibilities are endless in the world of William Gibson.
The Matrix is a film, while classified as sci-fi, mirrors the growing influence and mistrust of technology today. At the time of the film’s release, an audience may have

The movie "Matrix" is drawn from an image created almost twenty-four hundred years ago by the greek philosopher, Plato in his work, ''Allegory of the Cave''.The Matrix is a 1999 American-Australian film written and directed by the Wachowski brothers. Plato, the creator of the Allegory of the Cave was a famous philosopher who was taught by the father of philosophy Socrates. Plato was explaining the perciption of reality from others views to his disciple Aristotle. The Matrix and the Allegory of the Cave share a simmilar relationship where both views the perciption of reality, but the Matrix is a revised modern perciption of the cave. In this comparison essay I am going to explain the similarities and deifferences that the Matrix and The Allegory of the Cave shares. In the Matrix, the main character,Neo,is trapped in a false reality created by AI (artificial intelligence), where as in Plato's Allegory of the Cave a prisoner is able to grasp the reality of the cave and the real life. One can see many similarities and differences in the film and the allegory. The most important similarity was between the film and the Allegory is the perception of reality.Another simmilarity that the movie Matrix and the Allegory of the Cave shares is that both Neo and the Freed man are prisoners to a system. The most important difference was that Neo never actually lived and experienced anything, but the freed man actually lived and experinced life.
The Matrix is a 1999 science fiction film written and directed by The Wachowskis, starring Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne. It tells a story of a future in which reality to most humans is actually a computer program called "the Matrix”. In "the Matrix” humans are really sleep while their bodies are fed on my machines. The movie while directed to entertain audiences but also gave us many insights into philosophy. Many scenes in this movie reflect Descartes, and his many writings explaining them in a visual manner. In this paper I will show various examples of philosophy within the scenes and give commentary explaining each scene.

Artificial intelligence is the intelligence showed by mechanisms or software that pretends to simulate the human intelligence. It’s also the field of computer science that has the goal of creating devices that simulate the human intelligence, such as the rational ability (applying rules based on logic to an available data so we can reach a conclusion), learning (learn with mistakes and solutions in a way to react more efficiently in the future), recognize patterns (such as visual and sensory patterns and behavior patterns) and inference (capacity of applying reasoning in situations of everyday life).
In the movie The Matrix, Morphis says to Neo “I can only show you the door, I can’t open it for you.” The door that Morphis is talking about is this incredible vast knowledge that is unknown to Neo. What better person to show, to teach, to inform Neo than his teacher, Morphis. You see, I see myself as Morphis, the teacher, whenever I step into a classroom. As I look across the room, there isn’t just one “Neo”, but there are thirty or forty Neos. This is an extreme job for someone that understands how hard it is to open that door.
Unfortunately, the arguments present within the article are problematic as well. At no point does Adam actually elucidate on the flaws present within Elon’s argument. Instead, where Elon presents statements against the thought of sentient AI, Adam argues for the negative sociological impact of fearing AI. Elon presents AI as an “existential” [Source] threat, steeping the concern against AI as a problem of ethical philosophy. Resultantly, Adam constructs a fallacious straw man argument; by attacking a subtly different argument to what Elon states, Adam attempts to prove his
In order to see how artificial intelligence plays a role on today’s society, I believe it is important to dispel any misconceptions about what artificial intelligence is. Artificial intelligence has been defined many different ways, but the commonality between all of them is that artificial intelligence theory and development of computer systems that are able to perform tasks that would normally require a human intelligence such as decision making, visual recognition, or speech recognition. However, human intelligence is a very ambiguous term. I believe there are three main attributes an artificial intelligence system has that makes it representative of human intelligence (Source 1). The first is problem solving, the ability to look ahead several steps in the decision making process and being able to choose the best solution (Source 1). The second is the representation of knowledge (Source 1). While knowledge is usually gained through experience or education, intelligent agents could very well possibly have a different form of knowledge. Access to the internet, the la...
In considering the definitions and implications of Artificial Intelligence, many philosophers have reached extremely different conclusions. Alan Turing, author of the Turing Test, believed that an intelligent machine would be able to imitate perfectly a human. Margaret Boden, Professor of Philosophy and Psychology at the University of Sussex, contends that a machine is intelligent if it possesses and displays certain human values. Moving away from the pure...
